They are good and i would recomend it to everyone at the begining. For ppl, like myself, who wanna learn more about the plant itself and the botanical facts... there is not much info for you. Hi. Do u use any grow light bulbs in your lamps? Especially when the seasons change and your south facing window is getting less light.

Not really. There's still more than enough sunlight even during winter, and my unit is on the top floor so there's no obstruction. Plus, it's Sydney, so it's still pretty bright even during winter :)

I've found that house plants with soil typically result in bugs, what do you do to prevent this?

The neem oil spray is a great preventative and treatment against several types of bugs. You can also quarantine your plants when you first get them to make sure they didn't come with bugs.

Not all but the bigger ones definitely do. It's very important if you repot it, but if you use it as decorative and leave the plant in the nursery pot, then not so much. Essentially what you want to avoid is for excess water sitting on the bottom and flooding the base of the plant as it can cause root rot.
