Nice build! Re the NPC fighter pilot, if you intend to keep them around I recommend hiring the lowest-level you can find. Once ranked up to Elite, they'll only cost you 10% of everything instead of adding 1% to the starting percent for every level they gain. It will save hundreds of millions in the long run.

It's definitely a financial benefit to hire a low ranked NPC, and in that case having a gimbled Taipan fighter works best till they rank higher. This is something I was discussing with another Cmdr and I agree with this.

Really helpfull guide mate! moved to pc for elite dangerous but cant be asked for engineering atm. I have to switch off most guides due to them having engineered weapons and parts since I dont have the time to grind them out.

okay so this was definitely interesting as someone who's been flying the Mk.2 for a while now, since it was my first Hunting vessel i bought, and it's in the process of getting me up to a Conda the hardpoints definitely threw me off but i'm not really the "gotta have the most min/max stuff for meta super build CAN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE!!!" so i switch between weapons i feel like using because they're fun, or they seem fun, so i roll with that for a while until i get bored, right now i'm playing around with burst lasers and cannons, and cannons are shit, but kinda fun nglXD but i'm gonna refit my Krait later to this setup, because i've never actually gone with a more "normal" setupXD soooo thank youuu!^^

@@KreeKree okay sooo, i'm gonna admit, i was kinda skeptical in the beginning mostly "well, it's just regular pew pews and swooshies, doesn't seem as fun as boomies and swishers.." but, there was just something about the simplicity in it, getting the shields down fast, and then proceeding to just let the multis loose on them, it was almost... beautiful in a way? the poor, very dead, pirates tried their best, but to no avail and i was smirking, because, well, it was like "The Divine Infekt" had found purpose, it had found it's way, and it's way was cronching on pirate condas and their silly little ships tonight, i experienced something i didn't expect, a bond to be formed, and that's thanks to you! also, i messed up way back when, and my fighter pilot getting hella greedy and we now hate her okay? she is a reminder of my past mistakes, and she do be greedy! but i actually decided to make my way over to the pewpew engineer Tod(?) and try to engineer them badboys! but no joke, i'mma watch ALL your videos and stuff because i feel like you'll guide me in the right way of becoming the one true Joker of bounty hunting and rescuing and being a good boi at doing good things and destroying anyone that dares stand in The Divine Infekt's way! so thank you fren, you did me a great solid here even tho it might be SLIGHTLY silly but still, you did me a solid truly!o7

how to set fire groups and modules priority?

For power priority you won't need to make any changes because regardless of whether your hardpoints are deployed or retracted you'll have enough power to run everything. As for fire groups, I like to have my beams (thermal weapon) on primary fire and the multi-cannons (kinetic weapon) on my secondary fire but as for everything else it's up to you but I'd suggest not having too many fire groups and work out what works best for you and your play style. The build cost is around 188million depending on if you're Elite and are able to buy and outfit your ship at Jameson Memorial in Shinrarta Dezhra where you get a discount. The build and cost is listed in the Coriolis link in the description :)

How you get the military grade component ?

Good question! I find that the best way to find any module you're after is to use the EDDB website. Once on the website, go to stations and in the modules section in the top right you can type in what you're after and then fiddle with the other options below (I don't usually) and then in the bottom left at the reference system you type in the current system you're in and hit search. The cool thing about this is you can put in the ship in section and an entire build in the modules section and it will show you where you can find at least most of what you're looking for 👍 I hope this helps

I'm glad you're enjoying it! Crew members take a percentage of the profit and gain rank as they're used. I'd suggest getting a novice crew member so that they take the lowest amount of profit because the percentage they take never changes no matter their rank.

Running a Cell Bank with no heat sink makes me a bit nervous about this build personally, prefer to NOT have my ship screaming at me that it's too hot

Outfitting a ship can be very expensive, however, once you reach Elite in any rank you get access to the system, Shinrata Dezrha where you get a decent discount on all ships and modules 👍

I test-flew a Krait mk2 after I flew the phantom, I gotta say you're right In a stock mk2, you'll be outmaneuvered by everything, I found this to be a bit of a two-way street because my time on target wasn't that great, but on the other hand, I could better aim the railguns I had fitted at longer ranges ( because the ship wasn't so twitchy). I had two large frag cannons and a large beam laser on top, and the class 2 railguns on the bottom, the frag cannons were good because I didn't need too much time on target for them to do decent damage, I found the setup to be pretty great The point is, the stock maneuvering is the only issue for me, everything else was great I mostly used it as a short-range anti-big ship engagement vessel anyway, so I didn't really need the quick maneuvering P.S: I just convinced myself to buy it again

I bought a Krait MK2 and hated it so I sold it and went back to my Asp Explorer. The Krait just was horrible to fly and just sounds like a sick VW beetle.

Haha it depends on what level of competence are and what ship they fly. It also helps to have a kill warrant scanner to get bounties from other systems.
