... Para tus oyentes que viajan /viven en América latino .. Por ejemplo en Colombia decimos "me regalas una cerveza, por favor"... Desde el verbo "regalar" ... To give as a gift, as a present... But it translates to the same thing as your example... Can you bring me a beer please /can you get me a beer please..

The beauty of it, in my opinion, is that no matter the way we say, we always understand each other pretty well.
