When I go to settings/system/network, I see all zeros for the IP Address. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I did not. I ended up giving up and moving on to other projects :)

Had the same problem. I simply ignored it. And it works fine. You simply check the ip addr within ur linux vm and write this address into the pom file.
