Nice job guys!, that's a lot of fish fillets. Congrats on the new crewmember your age, teach him well, show patience when you can, and I'm sure he'll stick around.

Love the long form content. Fascinating to see what you do. Don't worry about missing stuff or the content being a bit raw - that adds to the character and the job must always come first in a busy and sometime dangerous environment.

Back in the '80s I stopped in Dutch harbor many times but not on a fishing boat. I think you must be close to albatross banks where they catch those nice halibut

Hey brotha Jakob. I’m a seasoned fisherman, trolling of course. I’m so down with being your camera man. I’ve done 6 seasons with the company Ocean peace inc. please hmu if you have a position for a deckhand/camera man. I definitely pull my own weight. I’ve thrown up once in the 4 years I’ve been trolling. Worked Two years on Deck for hauling ass down in the factory. Please hmu if you’re ever in need of a fourth man. 3:05

Hi Jake you remind of my self 2008 me and brother where fishing hake on the fv Viking storm 😢and my brother was making some grub before we hauled back 1 tow we filled her up put the hatch covers on secured the deck down 5 minutes later the captain called down to the galley the sisters back off a bit the doors where banging around and the skipper was pissed off he went full speed On the controls the cable snapped and hit my brother right in the head and face and was killed instantly and if he would of had a helmet on it would have saved his life 😢
