Do you ever grow purple tree collards? Love your videos, I always learn so much! God bless!

I haven’t seen the purple kind but I’m definitely going to try to get some tree collards! They are so cool!

How many brussel sprout plants do you need to grow to have a decent Harvest? I'm not talkin overwhelming but enough brussel sprouts for two people.
@TheMoreYouGrow4 жыл бұрын
A good harvest is between 15-25 Brussel sprouts per plant if that gives you a good idea. I would plant somewhere between 5-10 just to make it worth your while

Curios how you keep cabbage moths away?

Excellent video! Would be excited for a cooking video from a fellow Texan, our tastes are so strange compared to many other popular gardening states lol. When would you recommend starting pepper seeds?
@TheMoreYouGrow4 жыл бұрын
Will have to start trying to do more this summer! And it would depend on where you are. I like to start mine around now so they are a good size for planting outdoors. I’d say about 6-8 weeks before your average last frost 😁

Have you ever thought about doing a cooking video highlighting a great recipe for unusual vegetables?
@TheMoreYouGrow4 жыл бұрын
Yes actually! In the next few months after our wedding and house is finished my fiancé is going to start doing some cooking videos every so often highlighting things that I do growing videos on. She’s the best cook I’ve ever seen (one of the many reasons I’m marrying her lol) and would be a shame not to share that. Will be nice to have a KZbin channel that involves the whole family too 😁

I heard about the record cold along with the associated power grid failure in Texas. How have you been holding up?
@TheMoreYouGrow4 жыл бұрын
We are good now. My fiancé had some water and power issues for awhile that made for a long week but everything is back good as new now 😊

Is it icing while you're making the video? It sounds like rain and ice hitting the roof. Also where do you buy your seeds?

Very well could have been! And they are from a combination of Park Seed Wholesale and Baker Creek Heirlooms

I’m in Florida 9b. 1/25. Any suggestions for late Winter or Spring in my backyard. Already have 15 cabbages 😏. Only takes one season to realize you don’t really have to use all seeds in the package.

Hmmm not really familiar with the length of your cool season (I assume pretty short) you’ll just have to make sure any varieties you use are heat resistant or slow bolting. If you’ve never tried them try kohlrabi! My favorite cool season vegetable of all
