Bailey - thank you so much for your support. Part of the design of my online presence is to donate ukuleles to communities of need. For a $1 a month you can get the chord chart at www.patreon.com/theukulelefool. I am 12 patrons away from getting a second ukulele to an adult music therapy program. I am also running a GoFundMe to get ukuleles for group instruction at an intimate partner abuse shelter. I am afraid that if I put that on the screen, folks would have no reason to help support the causes that I am so passionate about.

You are a very good instructor! I'm so happy I found you. I just bought my 16 yr old daughter a Uke because her small hands are causing problems with the guitar. We are going to play traditional hymns on the Uke for specials at church. And hopefully for the Nursing home ministry if they ever open up again! We will be soaking up all we can from you! Thank you from your brand new sub!! God Bless you! You are being used of God for His purpose! 💗💗💗💗🥰

I can't say it enough. Your song selection and instruction are unmatched. My 7 year old daughter and I are having so much fun and making so much progress. Your instructional progression sets people up for success where other programs seem to provide random instruction, quite honestly. I wonder if Down to the River can be played on the Uke? lol. I'm in the Brother Where Art Thou mood. Lol. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me. I am so glad that I can help you and your daughter on your ukulele adventures. Yes! Down to the River to Pray is a great ukulele song, and the group I play with in Alaska does it with gorgeous harmonies. I will put that on my list of tutorials. In the meantime, check out Red Clay Halo. Gillian Welch was one of the masterminds behind Brother Where Art Thou.

Do you know how to find the description box on KZbin? I have the link to the Patreon post in almost every one of my videos. The chord chart is at the bottom left sideof the post with a little paper clip symbol. Didn't you say you had only been playing a few days? You shouldn't try doing a Cowboy strum off the bat. Do a down strum. Work on developing the Cowboy Strum with a 2 chord song, not a 3 chord song. My chord chart for this piece shows you exactly where to place each strum, etc. You will get really frustrated it you try to bite off more than you can chew.
