The reason for the not so good range are the 4500 motors on mt mx and v13 they demand a lot of battery. The reason veteran wheels get better range is the 3000 motors.

Its always a good time on these range tests I wish I had a selfie setup sometimes like youve got, yesterday I was attacked by canadian geese on my ride! I heard them behind me and looked and saw one of them flying towards me going for my head! I leaned into the t4 like I never have before, got some crazy wobbles but I barely managed to outrun it. You never know what kinda crazy stuff youll encounter riding 😂

The same thoughts, like was said here already, most energy is depleted in acceleration and in fast ride. Well, its made to be fast, but if you could change from fast to long range with a button push simply, it would be easier to save, since you could turn a power on just at exact moment when you need that...

Off-road mode is optimized for torque, so there's less field weakening at all speeds. Higher Field Weakening lowers the torque available, and at higher speeds this allows lower energy consumption/waste heat; possibly greater range (no experience here). Try 90% Field Weakening; you may not even miss the low end torque that much considering Florida's terrain.

@@Duf Now we’ve got a baseline for comparison, ETmax off-road range test: 50 miles. ETmax w/ field weakening: ?? V13 range with/without F.W.: ?? & ??… Looks like potential content, and a test of your knees.

A bit low on the range, but not overtly surprising considering it's a race wheel. The extremely high charge rate makeup for it if you find a EV outlet nearby.

I definitely feel there's some bias (not from you) with Begode wheel and InMotion wheels. The hype over the ETMax compared to the V13 having similar range and price is sus

Yep I recall how the biggest wart that the V13 got hammered on was the range from it's 3000WH battery.

Hey, without GPS speed data on the video, it's hard to gauge the speed you're maintaining over time. It would be great if you could incorporate GPS speed data into the video, similar to how GoPro and other cameras do. This would make the video much more informative and useful.

I am aware of this feature and what is involved in getting that overlay. For my videos it's more trouble than it's worth IMO unless the video is purely focused on speed.
