The Master is in a class of its own. The Monster Pro reigned Supreme for years. Now it's being retired and in it's place is this juiced up version of the baby Master all growed up.

Your remark about the foot rest was one of the issue Kuji Rolls pointed out. I'm bot sure the other model can adjust them. With that model the foot rest where very high, it made less agile

This thing is HUGE! I love it. I got a Master and I'm ready 😆 Please compare the 2 in your review and let us know what it's like in the various heights. (I have a feeling more height = a more powerful ride) Great video

With the speed of this wheel., I have a feeling being low and tight is best. 🤣 At least for me. Don't want to blow away being so high up. Quite frankly., the Master X will be a better comparison to the Master. Truth be told, the Master Pro is not in the same league as the Master. It's really a Monster Pro on steroids and suspension. Hence, why the Monster Pro's is being discontinued.

Good info to have in my back pocket- mine arrives in a few days. I do understand why there's a seeming downgrade in materials- it's already the heaviest euc ever made! Sturdier battery boxes... beefier or larger rim(a big complaint already), more solid trolley... all add MORE weight. Maybe MasPro X with its smaller battery can have sturdier parts...

Even with those complaints, I can live with it. I won't be doing any major or extreme riding with it. Treat it like I treated my Monster Pro., with enough respect to garner another safe ride. 🤣🤣 A smaller version of this wheel..., definately an option that should be executed. K owing Begode, there will be a trade off., for sure. They have yet to surprise us with taking care of our issues and complaints on any of there wheels without there being a drawback.

@@VeeEUC They already have 2 smaller versions, the Master X and the EX30. Well, EX30 is more like an upgrade to Hero (waterproof and stuff) but yeah, they are smaller. Not counting T4 (and MTen4 hahaha).

@@VeeEUC I've seen that, but I took it like a joke. X and Pro are exactly the same wheel, 22 inch and stuff. The only difference is the battery, 3k6 vs 4k8 (and the weight diff that comes with it, 48kg vs 53kg). You can compare EX30 with (classic) Master (baby master, as you call it, I love the name, I will call it so from now on, haha), but Master X and Pro are "the same different animal".

I've yet to see the vid., been super consumed with my own stuff. Truth be told, none of these manufacturers spend the right amount of time with the development and implementation of their wheels. Their specs ALWAYS look impressive until, we.., the guinea pigs, find out the hard way that what's always in print ain't what's always how the wheel perform. I don't profess to be an engineer nor do I know how long these manufacturers spend developing and testing these wheels, but I do know from past history., not enough time is given to either to make a flawless wheel we so desperately crave. (I digress. Got caught up in the moment.) 🤣 Now, the question is, will it be a deal breaker? For some, yes. For others., nope! Not in the least.

when you first started riding EX20, did you get the feeling of 'throwing weight' when turning - making it very easy to overcorrect turn? I was wondering if riding the Monster Pro also had this feeling/effect with all that weight, of if it's ride characteristics are very different than that of the EX20

Yes, this feeling is the learning curve of maneuvering a heavy wheel. I definately experienced it with my Monster Pro. But once you get the experience under your belt of handling a heavier wheel, it will dissipate. And pretty soon you'll be whipping it around like its an 18" wheel.

Thank you so much, vee !!! I have the master. This wheel that you have looks a lot stronger and very stable. Do you think it's worth me getting the master pro? Seems to me that the biggest difference is the battery, given the 4500 watt motor that the pro also comes with.

It really depends on what you are needing in a wheel. Yes, it has a bigger battery, motor, can go several miles longer, faster and quite comfortable riding., especially seated., but if you are looking for something that is versatile (on and off-road)., the Pro is not a good choice. In my opinion, it's not as versatile as it's smaller self. Don't get my wrong, you can take the Pro off-roading, but it's weight will be more hindering than anything.

How long you been riding the EX20? - I’m a beginner and I’m saving up for the v11 but I work at least 22 miles away from home. And I was gona get the EX20 but wasn’t sure cuz of how they explode

I've been riding the EX20 for quite some time. I started with it's predecessor, the EX. To be honest with you, I've had EVERY wheel just about made by Gotway then Begode. Some if not all of them carry some inherent risk of fires. None of my wheels have EVER caught fire. Now I'm not saying this to dispel any underline issues with the EX20, but I have found in the many years I've been riding, you have look at the source. All riders and all wheels are not created equal. There's always an aggravating cause that sparks the effect. Just saying.

Why didn’t it ship with battery attached? Mine came from Alian with battery installed. I got my wheel yesterday. I had trouble wrapping my mind around the weight. I thought my commander was heavy… I haven’t gone for a ride yet, need to put the pads on. The size and weight just have me a bit freaked out!

Mine was air shipped from China, so the requirements are they not fly the wheels with batteries installed. Freight shipping, the batteries are installed. I was the same way, apprehensive on getting on the wheel plus getting on with no pads. Imagine trying to stop that wheel with no pads. Lol It's just mind over matter. (Easy for me to say.) 🤣🤣

Very nice review ma'am! Loved the "visual comparison" 😛 to other wheels (quoted you from the reply to Cobra). And loved the doggies. What are their names? However I am a bit upset you didn't raise the issue with the charger. You only mentioned it like "high tech" at 0:56 (and yes, I got the fact that it was sarcastic, due to the presence of the fuses in the box) but didn't say how long it took you to charge the 4.8kWh little toy with that huge 3A high tech charger. This problem has to be raised by all riders, so maybe Begode does something about it... I am advocating about it, wherever I can, but I am not a famous rider, you know, just an obscure guy on the web...

First, thank you for the feedback and for your support. I truly appreciate it and you. Since this was an unboxing, the information wasn't as indepth because it focused on my first impressions. True, I got alittle ahead of myself by doing the comparisons. I usually do that in my comprehensive reviews of the wheel,s which for this one is forthcoming, so frett not, I've already made note of the charging time of the wheel at 26% battery life. As for the dogs, the Standard Poodle belongs to me and her name is Aliza. The little mischievous Yorkie belongs to my daughter and his name is Theodore., Teddy for short.

This will be my next wheel, most probably, but I have yet to clarify how the batteries are configured (hopefully, not like in the initial versions of Master - single row) and possibly, get it with a more reasonable charger. I have few already, but they won't fit due to lower voltage. In Adam's video he said it will take 12 hours, but it can't be so, unless you have a 100% charging efficiency (which can never be, it is about 80%), so I commented that the time would be more like 15 hours. I also contacted my distributor and raised the issues with them (bought few RS-es from them, I am riding one) and they said they will talk with Begode. Meantime, I found out that I was quite optimistic, Denis Hagov posted on his channel his quest to charge the Master Pro with 2 chargers (6A total) from 14% - it took 10 hours sharp.

@@laurv8370 since the wheel arrived at 36%, it took me every bit of 8 hrs to charge it. I'll have to double check the percentage, but it was 8hrs.

Good initial thought and comparision with other heavy class wheels. Go George Go said it would be difficult to mount/dismount for shorter people. I don't see it would be a problem for you at 5'8. I think Wrong Way is shorter than you and he mount/dismount it just fine in his video.

Hope you can brake down these rediculous prices they want for EUC s . Parts, assambling cost, material used etc. Exsempal you can buy electric scooter 72V litium batt. 60km/h at retail price approx 900US . Real price MUCH lower. These things shouldn't cost more than 2 zero price tag. Agree to disagree.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Also this wheel is rated to cruise over 60mph, at it's height and weight., serious damage can and will occur. I'm fortunate when my RS HS cut-out at 49.5mph, I walked away with a scratched thumb and it's skid mark on my helmet after it whacked me on the back of my head as it did a somersault over my body. That was a 60+ pound wheel. This wheel is all together different and I shudder to thing of having a cut-out on this wheel. Have Mercy.
