Of all the places you could have popped up in the US, I wouldn't have guessed Arkansas! Hope you had fun, despite the jet-lag, and thanks for all the work you put in testing and making these videos for us! I've been wanting a PEV of some sort for a few years now but hadn't heard of EUCs till I saw one cruising through the park in Montreal. I had to google to figure out what it was, but then I found your channel and have been binge-watching practically your whole catalog. Now I'm about set to order a V11 for my birthday xD Looking forward to learning to ride and to seeing how well Montreal keeps its promise of keeping the bike lanes cleared and salted this winter!

Just got back from a ride on some really rough roads and was thinking "suspsion might be nice for this". It still blows me away what these EUC's can conquer. So glad a didn't get a One Wheel and an electric scooter, except for perhaps a giant beast, would have been no match for these roads. "Stoads" - welcome to middle 'Merka.

This is more of an alternative to V12 as a commuter although I don't see anyone going for Master settling for this. I'm still not selling my V12 for this one. Yeah it sounds like you do have a great wheel. The V12 that performs as it should and has no issues is a hard wheel to replace. Great all arounder. This new begode wheel would be more of a weekend offroad basher. Great jumping and getting into trouble with. The V12 is the daily driver.

When you get to Vancouver Adam, you'll find the PEVs are pretty heavily regulated although I'm not aware of anyone being respectful getting pulled over. in the US, most bikes trails and such are limited at 15-20 mph. Brake if there's kids, strollers, dogs, etc. It's just courtesy. But also many people smile to see me going 40+, responsibly. Adam seems like the type to have some situational awareness

I have 3 questions about safety and T4 (maybe for your next review): - is the speed beep audible at 60kmph ? On my s18 I struggle to hear the beep when riding. - when overpassing max speed (60 if I understood well) is there a tiltback ? Or you go for a cut-off? - is there a tiltback when overpowering the whell ? Does this tiltback take into account the battery remaining?

A comment about the poor torque. I have a Nikola+ with the larger batteries. It has incredible torque. E-wheels sent me some new replacement batteries as the original sanyo batteries may catch on fire. The new battery gave it poor torque, like only half the battery was working…. After going back and forth, I decided to take my chances with the original battery and enjoy great torque. Just passing along my experience.

I’m a super aggressive and nimble rider. I was hoping I can get something with suspension that can go fast that has good torque that’s light that’s super nimble and then I can just do tricks and jump off of things. I was preferring the smaller wheel because of its nimbleness. I don’t really care about distance because I don’t need that type of an EUC right now. I just need extremely fun fast quick urban/off-road burst performance Basically I need a V 12 high speed with suspension. My first real unicycle!(first one was a cheap plastic one as a kid kzbin.infoUgkx4e2fa6x27dF7shCelntq0ZIKt4N0jELI I never learned to ride)So, this is a true learner, and for a C note, exactly what was needed. After a few weeks, I'm able to easily ride up and down the street. The Good: Solid frame. Has absorbed numerous spills through learning and still solid. Look - great looks, after 6 weeks of bashing Weight - it's really all tire, but as I fall I can easily grab the seat so it doesn't slam the ground. Size - Very adjustable. I'm 6', 33" inseam. I put it mostly up, but could go a bit higher if I needed to. The Bad: Not sure if it's out of the norm, but seat got scraped up quickly. Pedals - they are a bit uncomfortable and I can't get the right feel on my feet. But, they are solid and haven't been damaged at all as I've seen in reviews on other cycle's.- To address one comment about the seat connection not straight. Huh? Seat is on a round pole, you just turn it and it's straight. Either of the bad I expected to replace once I improved. I'd recommend to anyone else in the learning phase.

Hi Adam, have you happened to try a Molicel version of S18 yet? Its price is close to T4, so it might be a tough choice for those who are satisfied with a S18 battery.

This is a 16” wheel so more nimble than the S18 18” wheel.

A real HT version of T4 would be perfect for single track. Until then, I would wait for something else.

@@mr_wrongway oh yes, I'm also epically r/fuckcars and not just bikes pilled. And as a Ukrainian guy, for me it was crazy to find this out about Canada and US, I thought it's all LA movies and new york tv shows like. I know it's a similar attitude in Poland, where Polish people will think life in US is way better for some reason.

How’s it compare to a v11? Sounds like a better suspension
@mr_wrongway
@mr_wrongway Жыл бұрын
The suspension is A LOT better: v11 is linear and bouncy, this is dampening and progressive. Super adjustable

@@mr_wrongway Would you still recommend V11 for a suspension wheel? How about if someone was looking to learn on it and buy it as their first wheel? I am so close to buying(16x, 18XL or V11), but prices make decisions harder. Rain resistance is big for me. Would be main transportation. Cheers.

@@VinnyVonPapier 1st wheel is a tough decision. I got the V10F. It took a beating while I learned and the fabric cover protected it well. I out grew it fast , speed and distance. Upgraded to the MSP and loved it except for the handle. To trolley the MSP was no where near as nice as the V10F. So after you are done your learning and you are cruising home one day and want to pick up a few things at the store, having a stable wheel to trolley with may be something to consider as it being your main transport. At 57i know my next wheel will have suspension. T4 is looking like it but I think the V11 might fit the bill as well. Good luck.
