I watch your reviews and I seriously think of selling one of my motorcycles to try this new vehicle. 90 klicks equates to a 55 mph, that is some serious speed, with a 120 mile range. My current motorcycles have a 150 mile range. I certainly well stay tuned on quality and cost of ownership, thanks for taking the time to review fully.

Thanks for the impressions Adam! AlienRides just got their stock of MasterPros so we may be seeing more of these in the wild soon. I'm a heavier rider currently enjoying the EX20 HS and I feel like this Master Pro is the next step up. The one thing to note is that while the larger size may be a joy to ride, I'm worried about the logistics of having such a big wheel stored at home or put in the trunk for trips. It's not just huge... it's humongous! Looking forward to seeing the full review and also a side by side comp with the EX30 whenever that comes out!

A more befitting term for an EUC would be "Motor-Wheel". Given the ability of this EUC does it not make sense for begode and other manufacturers to inculde 12v wireless horns on all EUC?

I was most impressed by the torque. A larger diameter wheel will hurt the torque since it's essentially the same as the motor being in a higher gear, but despite the massive wheel it can still climb insane grades...so I'd probably run out of traction or courage before the wheel runs out of torque. I'm very interested to see what the EX30 can do.

@@CrunchyTire I definitely understand the difference there. Kind of like my Mten is very responsive, but the total power isn't that great/you can overtorque or overpower it if you lean too hard. My RS is less responsive, but much more powerful overall than the Mten. I'm sure the Master Pro would be like that compared to my RS, heavier and bigger, but a lot more power once you get going.

@sammysokosammysoko

Free wheel spin on this is more than 20kph LESS than the V13. The fact that Inmotion has electronic limiting in place on the V13 at 88kph (55mph) means no chance of high speed cutouts due to overpowering. The Master Pro, whilst having the same speed at the beeps, is pushing HARD on its upper limits to reach these speeds. Stay tuned for the cutouts. I like Begode, but they do not seem to care about safety. If in motion wanted the v13 to be easily the fastest wheel ever made, all they would do is take the limiter off and tell everybody to fend for themselves and take their chances with the beeps. That's exactly what Begode does.
@Blox117

i think there should be an option to disable the limit. its your device that you paid 4 and a half thousand dollars for, after all. also, v13 has a poor battery size
@dcarter001
@dcarter001 2 жыл бұрын
I ride motorcycles, you can twist the throttle until it maxes out. The thing is, you don't because of several factors. Self-preservation being near the top of the list. Given humans need to push the envelope, the beeps tell the prudent human to back off where the " oh! You mean there's more?" well go until something goes south. They do need a horn, which is required for a safety inspection. I think it well pass the braking test, it has lamination and rear lights and brake lights. Personal responsibility, that's the best safety equipment.
@splyce0117
@splyce0117 2 жыл бұрын
There is a reason there is a limiter. Soon as you remove it. Problems will start. They know WHat they are doing . Let's say they did and someone gets hurt. Then people will complain. Because nothing will make this community happy. Smh
@sammysokosammysoko
@sammysokosammysoko 2 жыл бұрын
@@splyce0117 that's exactly my point. That limiter is there because they know that the motor can operate at that speed safely for an extended period of time without risk of cut off because it is so far below the actual threshold of the motor. This is something that should have been done a long time ago on euc's, but because everybody in this community seems to be some kind of a thrill-seeking speed Junkie, we end up with wheels that have no safety features like this built in. And now everyone is going to dis on the v13 because it's a half a mile an hour slower than the master pro, when the v13's motor is actually significantly more powerful than the master pro's. It just has safety features built in to keep idiots from killing themselves as easily. I have ridden motorcycles my entire life, and it's no different than with cars. Obviously you don't drive your car with the pedal to the floor anymore than you drive your motorcycle with the throttle maxed out. The difference with those and a one-wheeled device that relies on a gyroscopic motor to stay upright, is there's no mechanical redundancy by virtue of multiple contact points with the ground. That's why these types of safety features must be built in to Electric unicycles if we want them to ever be able to cross the threshold into something more mainstream, and therefore have mandated safety precautions and regulations taken by the manufacturers. It's what this industry needs, and at least Inmotion is taking steps toward that.

Do you think the Inmotion v13 or Sherman S will be better?
@roccatagon
@roccatagon 2 жыл бұрын
No chance, v13 much smaller battery, sherman-S smaller tire, battery and less comfy suspension.

Thablackcobra made a good point most people want to be able to upgrade shocks now. And sherman s, v13 and Commander pro your stuck with suspension that come with it

@@splyce0117 What do you mean? I don't think it's necessary a bad thing. If it's a good suspension that good. Still better then the Master, where the suspension is bad and you can (or should) change to for a lot of money

Overall Veteran S and V13 Both companies put out wheels before these with new tech and etc. And had multiple problems. They just are not good at new stuff. They once again doing something completely different and we will have to be the ones to help perfect the problems.

Thanks a lot for the review. I'm beginning to think that if they can't make a suspension system that accommodates heavier riders, they should have a non suspension option.

Master pro with LG50 or 40t?
@CrunchyTire
@CrunchyTire 2 жыл бұрын
as fast as I've heard there aren't any LG batteries in the Masters. the "50e" packs are Samsung 50e which are still a step above the LG Fire Packs as they have become known. There are Samsung 50e, Samsung 40T, and Molicel or Litech Packs.

@@Blox117 Let me guess. You are thinking the wheel needs to ride consistantly at 60 mph to be called a 60 mph wheel, and its not if it occasionally reached 60 mph. Lmao.

@@Hunter_Heart I'm probably gonna get the ex30 then.. don't need the master pro range and it looks just too big and heavy and not fun to ride even at 6'3 and 200 pounds I find smaller wheels more nimble/ fun

I expected beeping at 100km/h. E-scooters now clock in at 120km/h or 72mph while EUCs are stuck at 90km/h.

I agree with you. If am to put PEVs as flying arsenals EUCs are the Fighter jet, E bicycle are Bombers and Escooters are spy or reconaissace(iguess Y the fastest). EUCs the Fighter feel i will like to catch up and keep up every PEVs.
