Behemoth and Aku felt a little weird in how the two have pretty sizable 'ecosystems', and all these ubers and units, but those feel isolated from the rest of the game like some sort of side quest. Aku has decent prominence in UL at least, but Behemoth enemies exist in an isolated sphere, where you spend all this time farming for very Behemoth-specific (discounting cases like Courier and Mushroom) cats to use to... farm more Behemoth stones. Always felt off to me.

@@LucasIVYT i'm pretty sure that the reason Aku enemies work is because, when you think about it, they were a big new trait when first introduced about a year ago; it was a breath of fresh air to find this new trait, and PONOS managed to give it huge momentum with the Aku Realms, anti-aku ubers and talents and even two new advent bosses dedicated to them. Behemoth still has nothing of that, and if ponos keeps it that way, it's not even one of the worse traits; it becomes an OPTIONAL challenge: while the egg units are cool, they could have been a reward from the aku realms from time to time, like how eoc 1 unlocks the 9 basic cats to the player, instead of being ties to a trait that while is still "new", it has little to no content.

I had this idea: each egg is labeled as N00x or N20x, so depending on the starting number the unit is based on a specific era, N00x could be from ancient civilizations, N20x could be 1700s themed cats. Just an idea.

I think a really big problem comes about when behemoths like Hazuku release without an easily accessible counter yet get insane stats anyways. Surgeon didn’t come out until the update after Hazuku was introduced and while Killer Cat got a true form to deal with it, you were just out of luck without him (if Hazuku stages weren’t so easy to rush). Because Surgeon is bad, Hazuku is basically just an instant loss if it’s supported by any huge threat and you don’t have Radical. Scissorex has this issue too but at least Seafarer can Freeze it and Courier is just broken. A way I think would really fix Behemoth balancing and make the eggs better overall is if Behemoth Slayer was split in 2: Behemoth Slayer and Behemoth Tamer. Behemoth Slayer keeps its damage benefits but loses some defensive capability and the Dodge ability. Behemoth Tamer gives a stronger defensive effect than current Behemoth Slayer and allows units to bypass Behemoth immunities but has no offensive effect. Basically make them weaker versions of Massive Damage and Resist.

I honestly think courier is very well designed, but he's made way to powerful. The aspect I like about courier is that he isn't this "only work against one enemy cookie cutter unit" he's useable throughout a lot of areas in the game. He's one of the things that felt like a breath of fresh air in a long recent time. I think a type of unit that actually got designed correctly in comparison to courier is mushroom. Shroom isn't there to just get rid of rajakong he's also really good against some more melee type based angels like angel gory, gabriel, boraphim and most notably youcan considering he's got wave immune as well outside of the angel and behemoth niche he's also a fine stackable ranged wave immune attacker. Now this already sounds really powerful as well, but in comparison to courier this guy is locked in the deepest parts of the desert, jungle and volcano while courier is most likely your first egg unit while being cheap cost as well. An example of one of the worst cookie cutter type units I have seen has got to be the surgeon. He's suposed to work against one enemy being pterowl, but even then when using him it feels like there's no difference when you bring him to a stage with pterowl. Outside of that the surgeon is completely helpless no stats to provide anything to the table in terms of offense while a majority of the other anti floating options are easier to use and easier to obtain.

Courier would be fine.... if only it has Yellow Bstones as TF cost. Be able to get courier too early destroys the balance of early game. It would be fine if you get courier post dogu as courier wouldn't be able to break UL much as it breaks SoL. I am glad Mushroom and Supercar are much harder to obtain.

Ragin Gory is not annoying. Just don’t use bomber cat. Ahirujo is not that annoying. Courier can destroy them. Scissorex is a really annoying. Why does Catarzan suck. Hazuku is super annoying. This enemy needs a nerf. Also don’t comment, “But fisherman can destroy it” Darkjo is a bit annoying and gas mask can destroy this enemy. FOLIVOREAN is not strong if it’s normal. If this is buffed, it’s absolute hell. Ariant: If I have zombie bear, it’s a joke. But I don’t have it; annoying. Rajakong: I need mushroom cat. Otherwise it’s impossible. Also f the 10 restriction stage to get Cat Cactus. Also why do I get Mushroom after clearing Lava Caves stage 10? Gallus: Peons are much more this annoying. I even cleared Aku Realms. A thing that I believe would fix all of this: If a unit has behemoth killer, then if it has an extra cc ability, behemoths will also be affected, along with the extra damage/resistance. That way, they can keep their behemoth subtrait thing, and SO many more egg units would be viable.

I feel like behemoth cats are just going to be new meta that most people need to grind. While I feel like having the behemoth stones turn into cat fruit may be a bit too powerful for early game (imagine someone having courier before itf), I do understand that the stones are annoying to grind and even then have late game restrictions for people who just wanna use another unit to beat a stage.(almost no shield breakers but can’t get supercar) I find that the best solution would be to alter behemoth stones so that the range between good units aren’t immediately available, but also not too restricting. It’s quite a balancing act, but to grind UL up to dogmaru just to beat some stages in aku realms is pain. So either make behemoth stones into something that requires around the completion of SOL( because let’s be honest, grinding SOL is just a chore) or to make eggs less restricting on players who should have already completed most of the game. Also make behemoth a trait because it is stupid to have trait with tanking stats then get ruined by a second behemoth of a different typing

Behemoths just kinda exist, they don’t really add anything to the rest of the game besides having special stages. Ponos kind of hyped up this trait update after update, but they’re more of a neat enemy you only fight against a couple of times and that’s it. Sure they make an OCCASIONAL appearance in UL, but only way late into UL to the point that only a small margin of players gets to see them outside of behemoth culling. You get all these egg units to counter behemoths, but then once you’re done farming behemoths, there’s barely any behemoths left in the game to face, so the egg units feel less special at that point imo

It's both hilarious and sad how ponos was able to make a whole new farming material more rng dependant(and arguably more bs depending on the units you have) than elder cat fruits. Literally everything about them is completely rng dependant, even the only reliable way of farming them which is Hunter's map is also rng because it's a fucking enigma stage. Seriously, ponos is adding features that doesn't want us to play the game : the gauntlets having cd, the behemoth stages that appears once a day for a couple of hours and only playable once,the enigma stages , the empress excavation with the same problem as the behemoth stages(in this case is not that bad because it doesn't require so many clears) and the fact that we need to do them to obtain "FARMING" material is complete bs. TL. DR : why did ponos think that adding a new farming material which can only be obtained in limited stages and random enigma stages was a good idea?

Behemoth feels like a rushed sub-typing. Was on the verge of greatness, but ended up falling flat super quickly. I will say though, I like Kanna TF being able to eviscerate ragin' gory, very much fun. But behemoth enemies are like, the worst...especially 200% wild doges; at the very least 200% relic doges don't one shot erasers while those things do; makes for a very unfun experience later on in the game. I love some of the designs of the egg tfs, and duck is fucking hilarious...but for it to be as insanely pricey as is, in addition to Cat Cactus being as expensive as it is, makes for a lot of pointless farming of stages that either come once a day, or after 3 hours of waiting just for a chance at it. Pretty bullshit if I do say so myself. Also don't get me fucking started on Raja Kong, that thing is a mini boss that actually fucking sucks to face, miles worse than St. Dober. I'm so glad I haven't had to face him more, as he would suck to face in combination with anything else strong. And ponos added aku without a hitch at all. While some Aku enemies are annoying, I really feel like they knocked it out of the park in regards to how they implemented the typing, and how they made sure to make it balanced at the very least. Some of my favorite stages are aku related stages, as they offer so much variety and synergy that you can't get with Behemoth...really fucking sucks man. Overall, I absolutely agree with your points...plus I wanna bring up the "Cats defeated" spawning method...which absolutely fucking sucked with this previous excavation...as it spawned in Puffingtons after 40, 70, and 110 cats killed iirc. Ponos has been taking L after L as of late, but at the very least we got Infernal 31-40, which I am excited about. Moral of the story: Don't do drugs kids, as you may end up making a broken ass sub type and broken ass unit that powercrept the entire game at this point.

Another thing I don’t like about behemoths is that most of them are immune to debuffs so it leaves out all the cats that aren’t strong/massive damage so you are required to use behemoth killers and rush them down and even then only 4 of them are able to do it (also yellow stones are complete bullshit)

My gripe with the whole system is a combination of the irritating farming required for them as well as the majority of the egg units being pretty garbage. Courier, Mushroom, and the Duck on being exceptions, but are also really expensive to upgrade. Edit: Also the good eggs being locked behind the Excavation stages makes them slow and sometimes difficult to obtain ON TOP of having to farm cubes.

I personally kind of like most of the things related to behemoths, but I must say one thing that's awful for me. The eggs and in general units that use B. Stones for they true form end up being just one more entry in your cat guide for a really, really long time. I mean, at one point I cleared all the farming and empress excavation stages and I ended up with Courier, Mask cat, cat Tarzan, a bunch of eggs and only like one yellow stone... The units are unlocked by the player so late that at that point they probably completely lost interest in them. And I think that's kind of crazy.

The point on ability based eggs, those eggs also have quite a high beast stone cost leading to some to fell that they are useful and just dont care. Also courier made so many people start demanding ponos to make more and more broken units so all they have to do is just click one button and instantly win

With the new Sage Sub-Trait added, an interesting thing would've been if CC-based -Monster- Behemoth Slayer units ignored immunities. Other than that, all Slayer Abilities really should've been consistant and especially less offensively powerful. This results in lower numbers around the board, even for the enemies who don't need to be as strong anymore. Behemoth Slayer's Dodge can stay and vary from unit to unit, but be much more effective for those that need it. Currently, these are the multipliers: Deal 1.6x damage to and take 0.7x damage from Colossus; Deal 2.5x damage to and take 0.6x damage from Behemoth. Can Dodge them, usually 5% chance for 1 second; Deal 1.2x damage to and take 0.5x damage from Sage. Ignores their debuff resist and resists debuffs from them. My pitch for the new multipliers: Deal 1.25x damage to and take 0.75x damage from Colossus/Behemoth/Sage. Basically half the strength of Treasureless Strong. The only buff would be damage dealt against Sages. Behemoth Slayer keeps Dodge chance, but much more varied in chance and time, being much stronger on CC based Units so they can actually do their job (and bypass Immunities). Damage based Units can also easily just lack Dodge altogether. I didn't even know Sage Slayers actually gain the same resistances (70% duration and 50% KB) dealt by Sage Enemies. I think it's fine to just keep their Ignore Debuff Resist, but with the defense being halved, it can probably stay. idk it's new. It would be funny to see it stack with Resist Talents to gain an immunity, though.

Since the theme of (some) units and enemies is prehistoric, maybe it could've been something of a new game +. If it has its own chapters like into the future, where normal units are weaker in comparison to the egg units, and made behemoth slayer even stronger. For farming, just making it rotate like the catfruit stages would've been enough, even then it really doesn't have to be there. For the beginning of the new prehistoric chapter, it could've brought in new units from non mission objectives, like how empire of cats chapter 1 gives units after certain stages. And maybe making the eggs have a purpose, or making the second form egg a baby version of the unit. As for behemoth enemies in event or late game, they could be magnified down, or have the units restricted. Which is why "ancient" rares could fix some issues in late game. Just my ideas, tldr: behemoths could've been like the aku, just changed around

I wish the changed how Behemoth Slayer worked so that CC units with that ability targeted every Behemoth enemy by default, but I don't mind them much. The trait I really hate is Relic. All the enemies are busted, they curse, their magnifications are cracked af, you don't get treasures to increase the effectiveness of abilities that target them even though they're already the strongest, and most units that are good against them required talents and shit to work against them. However, the thing I truly despised when it came out was the Counter Surge ability. It's disgusting. How about you invested in a unit that got Surge, maybe through talents? Well, now using that unit is actively worse than before against those enemies (which I hope Ponos doesn't decide to make very frequent). Making Behemoth a trait really just solves a lot of problems, like courier, courier could just have massive dmg against behemoth, and that's it, it would still be good, but that's because courier is just broken on his own, courier might still be a must have for certain rushable behemoths, but just make them better and not bullshit like rajakong wave. All the eggs are kinda like when PONOS released Sarukani And Pai Pai right after Daboo and Hannya respectively except for eggs they're required for the enemy they counter. Otherwise without eggs a specific behemoth can be extremely annoying to fight. The worst part is that you usually have to fight the enemy first before even getting the unit to counter it.

I also dislike how they outclass a lot of ubers? i.e. Cat Chief and Sarukani. Sarukani was one of the best anti-zombie attackers in the game but Cat Chief completely outclasses him in terms of damage and health along with having tons of other abilities like soulstrike and even mini-wave. Plus Cat Chief is no gacha and a rare cat, making it much more accessible to an extent, and usable in 4-crowns. Usually it's a good thing when a rare or no gacha unit outclasses an uber however that comepletely ruins the whole point of an uber. Ubers are SUPPOSED to be special. They're SUPPOSED to feel exclusive. They're meant to make players feel lucky or special that they have that one uber that really helps them with that one trait. I'd be more okay with Cat Chief it didn't completely overhaul Sarukani. Sarukani can't even be used for his angel niche thanks to mushroom lol.

Nah the worst thing about this update is the BS drop rate on Behemoth Stones specifically anything that isn't Red or Purple, ESPECIALLY with Yellow Stone. I've gotten enough of every stone to evolve True Killer Cat into Radical Cat EXCEPT for Yellow and up until now I still haven't gotten a single Yellow Behemoth Stone. Unless PONOS adds more Hunter Maps then Behemoth Stones will remain the worst thing this update has to offer

Tbh these points feel a little overexagerated. Complaining about rajakong while I've never struggled with him even before shroom. I agree that behemoth should be a typing and all to help the debuff units The funny thing is these behemoths aren't really that hard from what I've seen. I'm extremely far in this game but even then it's hard to fathom how something with such low pushing power can get complained about so much.

Rajakong as a unit itself is terribly scary, but so far a lot of the stages that implements Rajakong is extremely forgiving bar Lava Caves 10. Mainly the reason being that when those levels were released, Mushroom didn't exist yet. As an enemy itself it's one of the scariest Behemoths aside from like Scissorex and Pterowl

i wish colossals and behemoth had a gimmick. colossals suck since the "gimmick" is magnification, which is applied to all enemies (like bunbun who is always battled at 200% or more i believe). so they're basically just normal enemies with an added trait which is "strong against" copy (behemoth and colossal slayer)

Behemoths don't feel that bad to me. It feels like farmable advents. I only hate the friggin wild doges. That's the only reason I feel like I have to bring courier and sometimes haniwa. I don't even mind having to bring gas mask because I hate constantly having to bring erasers/ramen. Yeah, the Behemoth stages are a trip. Darkjo to access Ashvini Desert was already painful due to level 40 Courier being not as effective... Don't get me started on backliner Kurosawah, he's another big pain of that stage sometimes, but the occasional wave attack did eventually help to do him in. Honestly the rest of Ashvini Desert was pretty simple to beat, but I did kinda cheat on the last one with Chibinel by using Dark Mitama. That's probably the biggest setback with the Behemoth Stages along with the goddamn daily wait; the entries for the latter stages. Peril in the Volcano is damn near unbearable without constant meatshielding, mainly from the Crazed Cats plus Gas Mask, and 200% backliner vore is... a backliner. Really all of Jinfore Volcano is just plain stupid to me, and to believe it locks Mushroom Cat... JUST GIVE US THE DAMN UPDATE FOR THE OTHER TWO LEVELS SO I CAN END THIS MISERY OF CATNIP PURGATORY! Can't believe the Hunter's Map stages don't qualify for Behemoth Culling since they literally have us cull the Behemoths to get the stones... AND IT'S STILL EASIER THAN JINFORE! Gah dayum. At least at this rate I'll have enough to get Cat Cactus while starving Surgeon and Racquet of stones... if I can even beat Emp Excav 2 with level 50s. Sarukani don't fail me now... Oh dear god they might even make a Zombie Behemoth Slayer... Honestly though that would be an intriguing concept. Like a substitute for Cadav Bear. Or another Rugby Cat. Yeah, second seems more on par with PONOS right now. Now then, what stats would it have... If it has massive damage, then it'll probably get knocked back by a rabid dog bite... and die if it isn't lvl 40. If it has strong, maybe it might stand a chance. Like a Shigong with damage to boot. Then there's Resistant. Reliable, but iffy on the damage side for Zombies. We could use another Brainwashed Fish Cat. Just make it rare, 1200 even, and kiss your Cataur talent woes goodbye... I think that'd only be good for Daboo's revenge stage though. And most of the rare eggs have serviceable pricing... 720 sounds good. Now, will it be an event exclusive, pseudo-advent drop, or another catnip? There's a lot to think about when it comes to this. All I know for sure is it's either gonna be an okay use against R.Ost or 4 star will remain painful to me regardless. Oh, and it won't have wave immune. Because zombies would never do that... Omni Strike immune. Gottem.
