I've read all his books. I totally recommend them. Jack Kornfield made it real for my life. His gentle story telling brought Buddhism into my daily life. I love listening to him.

Being around the sane people who caused the original trauma continue the abuse is unacceptable and I will not stop until I'm free from Any type of influence. Causing discord, in every way. Nothing like these people! The way they think, I'm actually angry and have had enough! Your voice is calming. Thank you for the upload

*The point isn't to get rid of emotion but to understand them. Touche' I recall when I first began sitting and how I aspired to be free of emotions, desires, attachments, revulsions etc only to what? Come face to face with ALL OF THAT. HAHAHA.. Silly rabbit that I was and how perfect it all was too.

Instruction from the Buddha Live in joy in love, even among those who hate. Live in joy, in health, even among the afflicted. Live in joy, in peace, even among the troubled. Look within, be still. Free from fear and attachment, know the sweet joy of The Way. Which of course is love and compassion

I love that. Reminds me of myself. I never learned to play guitar, but I play it anyway. It feels more like work than play, but my limitations simplify things. I do my best with what little I know.
