The case is 43mm correct? Do you know what the lug to lug is? I feel this is out of my size range on my skinny wrist. The ladies piece they made was 40mm and that seems like a great size lol.

I may have missed it but what material is the balance spring made from? If it’s not something a-magnetic then I wouldn’t really want to put my phone anywhere near it for the whole NFC thing. Hopefully they’ve thought that bit through though.

I love this watch and their other watches. The only thing I worry when considering buying one of these tourbillon watches, is since they are a new company, I'd worry they might go out of business and then you'd have trouble getting parts/service on the watches. The other thing I think they could do better is the way they sell them. A lot of people are turned off by the Alfuender sales model and call it a pyramid scheme so they automatically refuse to take their amazing watch seriously. I personally think it's cool what they're doing, but it doesn't matter what I think, it matters what the general watch buying public thinks that will keep them in business. Cool watches and ideas none the less.

I was just about to buy one but then I had a realization - the tourbillon is nowadays a more artistic complication than a technical one. Therefore, buying a “Costco” version of a tourbillon seems somewhat off. I don’t mean to play down the importance of what they’ve been able to achieve, it just isn’t something I’d personally buy. After all, I believe there are Chinese tourbillon watches for 500 USD, so this isn’t quite the cheapest tourbillon out there. Best of luck to them though

I agree, nothing wrong with Chinese tourbillons but if I’m paying 5k I expect it to be superior to a Chinese tourbillon

You can get a Chinese tourbillon for around $260. But the quality isn't great. This I'd hope would have much better quality than the Chinese ones. I wouldn't consider this Costco version of a tourbillon. It may be mostly machine made but so is Rolex.
