How does the extention work? I didnt see an exolanation and it doesnt look l Iike a telscopic arm. Just wondering. I guess it has somethig to do with the boat hook roll he menrioned in the end.. but i wonder how it keeps its shape if thats the case.

I think it's called a rollable boat hook. I was only able to find a product from a company called Revolve.

Look up rollable composite technology because that’s what the revolve company based their boat hook off of and there are other ideas based on this tape measure thing
