Agreed. He should've taken another kidney transplant instead of staying on dialysis for DECADES! Dialysis lifespan average is only 5 years! If he did he might still be here.

I felt so bad for all three, but more so for Gary. He became just a ‘cash cow’ for his parents, while being sick and on dialysis. They did not really care about him!

At least this film served as somewhat closure for Gary and Todd. This was like a two hour therapy session on television.

I wish things had gone better fro Gary, he gave us so much, I still enjoy his work, it makes me laugh and that is a huge gift, we miss Gary.

This movie was so good. I wish Gary/Dana had longer lives. They would be superpaid in the 2020s. Money makes people do evil things. Todd, Dana, and Arnold were robbed by devilish people.

I don't know why they dismissed the people from this show they were all smart talented well spoken individuals. And I'm sure that all these people were in lots of projects and lots of Productions.

Gary was the comic relief for the show, like JJ Evans was for good times. Like Kramer was for Seinfeld. Those characters always stole the show.

Yep. In fact, in his interview with the Television Archive, he describes the horrible organization he found on NBC when he arrived: from inexperienced people running very complicated divisions, such as entertainment and news, to an awful taste of programming (with some exceptions) and even he talks about how cheap was the then-NBC logo (trapezoid N).

Why is Diff'rent Strokes the only DVD to this series you cant get on ebay ?? Maude , Charlies Angels and Mork And Mindy are all there for sale . Was this series a limited release ?? Anyone out there know ?? Gone right threw the first 3 pages of google [30 different sites] and there's no more than around 2 - 3 minutes of the movie .
