Man I remember when this album came out. It was like Al didn’t miss a beat from his 70s run. Everything was spot on from the production to the vibe. Strings, horns , organ💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥Hats off to you all for delivering a masterpiece.

Man...what a sick group of musicians to play behind the icon Rev. Al Green. Much respect and props to everyone of them but special shout out to the late, great 6 string legend...Maestro Spanky Alford. That brother was absolutely mind-blowing on that L5. Miss him and his incredible musicianship tremendously but he's alive and well on all the great music he left us with. .I definitely been sleeping but I got to wake up and get my hands on the instant masterpiece. 👊🏾

Be better if you went into the development/specifics of your own playin', rather then namedroppin' this and that... seems to be something the old school loves doing, comes off as pretentious (hate to say it but namedropping it's another way of being divisive)... then again, people love glorifying past musicians rather than actually realizing you can play just like that, with a little effort. Glorifying the past discourages the future.
