I'm not gonna pretend I know them, and sure, they're not beyond theatrics. But I feel that they're authentic in the sense that they're not spending a lot of time being overly clever about things. They just draw on stuff that move them, ideas and stories through conversation and shared experience, and focus on music. Not just THE music, as in their work, but all music. It's just a beautiful thing and it's probably why the band has that synergistic x factor that it's impossible to plan for. It just happens when the stars align. And maybe I'm just aging and I'm being nostalgic, but I feel that this sort of thing has become more rare than it used to be, which is one reason they make me so happy. That and the fact that the music, both the material and the performance, is absolutely sensational.

Khruangbin, Love their music, it was late 2021 when I discovered them at the tail end of a stressful chapter in my life, very stressful to the borderline of suicide. Khruangbin's music including this album "Con Todo El Mundo" and their other dub album that follows this one, "Hasta El Cielo" and others, really took me to another world away from this reality making me wanting to listen to them 24/7. Fast forward to 2023, this helped me get my life back together in such a positive way making Khruangbin such a crucial band I will always treasure and keep in my heart! I can't express how much better my life has been since I first heard Khruangbin, and saw them live on Acid... ✨🍄👽🍄✨ and Animals As Leaders are also absolutely wild! Another trio I recommend is The John Butler Trio. Their first 4 albums, and original line up with Shannon on double bass, and Michael on drums, cranked out some excellently creative and talented funky jamband tunes! Their newer stuff since the lineup change, meh, but Ragged Mile is one great new one!

I never really thought about it, but it makes so much sense now. Airplane - its sole purpose is to go from place to place. Without it, it misses that core puropse. Just like the band with their music and all their influences (0:40). It can also relate to us listeners going places while we listen to it (3:11). And that for me is the best definition of any music I listen to, really. I love Khruangbin. They take me to some of the most beautiful places that I know of.

Well said about art Mark. I have a huge H. R. Giger print hanging in my music room, ( Necronom IV ). My younger sister was actually frightened by it and said it looked evil and overtly sexual.
