"I would make it a better game" Honestly best answer you could've given, 10/10 And fully agree with your take on the story, it definitely lacks reason to exist. A prequel elaborating on perhaps Grigori or the Dragonforged would be pretty neat, or a sequel where your Character doesn't end the cycle and the game is in a more maybe renaissance like era would be interesting to see.

Thanks for picking up questions, most entertaining lol. 2 things. Crazy that you like SoulCalibur, because believe it or not I actually worked on SCV! I was a games tester and co-authored the official guide, focusing on Nightmare, Zwei and Devil Jin CAS. As for the other thing, if you're a fan of obscure capcom hack n' slash games, 100% play Chaos Legion. It is the best hidden gem they have on their action based roster and is criminally unknown, let alone underrated. I implore you.

No shot?? That's amazing! I actually adored SCV, and I've loved the series since I started playing back in SCIV! Actually flew to Ireland for a tournament (Celtic Throwdown) a couple years back! Really hoping they come out with a seventh instalment, if they do I'm going all in on it! I'll definitely need to give Chaos Legion a proper try sooner or later, it really strikes me as a good one!

Would you consider trying Kingdoms of Amalur? It's got flashy melee combat and some great magic. I think you'd enjoy it 😁 Also its from a lot of the folks that made Oblivion

Interesting! I don't usually focus on horror much (depending on the game I can be a right baby) but I really love the genre when it comes to games, tamer stuff like RE, Alan Wake ect. I can handle but when things get more psychological (PT, Silent Hill) I freak out, but ironically I also find that the most compelling kind of horror lmao. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to give some focus to horror games from time to time!
