My favorite xmas movie of all time! Have such wonderful memories of watching this w my family, especially my dad who's now passed. He looked like Chevy when he was younger, everytime i watch this i think of my dad and laugh. Thank you 🎄💜

You just made me realize why I hate new movies. Something you said about the humor being grounded in reality and believable…. This is missing from films now. So many older movies I love to compare characters in them to people I know in real life, you can’t do that anymore. It’s a shame.

I watch the DVD every year and it's one of my favourites. The only thing that bothers me is when he didn't have his Christmas bonus, he had a complete meltdown. Then once he got it, he says Christmas isn't about bonuses and how it's about being with the people you love....etc. The same people who he was having a meltdown in front of when he didn't have the bonus. The message comes across that if you get a really GOOD bonus, then you can overlook you crazy family and have a great Christmas. For those of us who DON'T get any bonuses, there's not many straws to grasp from this movie.

The movie is like almost 2 hours, I don't think that can be considered a 'short film' maybe if it was 25 minutes it would be considered a short film, but this is a full feature length film.
