Thank you Andertons for the best content ever! You guys keep us so well informed and up to speed! It is one thing to have cameras and access to these amazing instrument builders but you have to capture it with love and passion. That's exactly what the Captain and his squad are doing. Giving a soul and personality to the vids being released for our pleasure. I'm in Canada and I've seen many retailers trying to find a niche on social media and they just don't get it! They forget that we are humans and that the product has to be seen, touched, played and critiqued by someone we trust in order to have empathy for what is being shown to us. This person we trust becomes the prism we adhere and come back to and kudos to the Captain and his team for being successful at doing so. God love you guys! I will not name everyone as I would be so afraid to forget someone but you are ALL so important to us. The humour, the fun, the honesty (yes honesty) dials up our attention. Great tour and stories. The only problem with Lee is that he often appears to not really be listening to his interlocutor; so many opportunities for good follow up questions are missed because he already knows the next question that HE wants to ask. Pretty minor issue. And I'm very grateful that he undertook this tour and gave all of us such wonderful insights and information.

I loved seeing this behind the scenes tour, but his endless "wows and cool" enthusiasm started to get annoying after the 50th time hearing it. several times he just cuts the staff off mid sentence and talks over them when they trying to answer his questions or explain things !

From what I have been told by custom guitar builders here in CA, nitro can't be sprayed due to the strict environmental laws, so that is all done about 150 miles south in Mexico. CA is trying to save the planet, & apparently not spraying nitro & other types of paint is part of the solution. Spraying it 2 hours away makes all the difference....idiots. We are all wearing masks again so maybe that will help...

Well done man. I’ve been preaching this for a while. As a former guitar shop employee and guitar/ backline tech, I have played many many guitars and I have been in a lot of situations where I prefer the Mexico strats and in my opinion MIM with upgrade pickups is the way to go. Especially here in the USA where prices are insane right now.

@@ClappedBimmers It's a strange arrangement, but the Gretsch family owns the company- and Fender produces, markets, and distributes the guitars. The lower priced models are contract manufactured in Asia for Fender. The higher priced factory models are produced in Japan by what I believe is a Fender owned factory. And the custom guitars are produced in the Fender custom shop just like the Jacksons and Charvels- and of course the Fender customs.

The thing I love about Fenders is that they last a lifetime. You see old Telecasters with the finish coming off the body and worn but they still sound wonderful maybe even better lol I hope I have my American Pro Tele for life it has been a magnificent guitar that I’ve added to my collection. There's no such thing. Japanese guitars are mostly made in Fujigen (which's main business is making wooden panels for luxury cars), Indonesian are made in Cort and WMIs (which makes 30 other brands). Similar story with Chinese. Pedals are made by Maxxon. Maybe they mostly own the Premium factory in Indonesia that was seeded with Fujigen luthiers teaching locals the stuff. Custom shop in LA is hardly a factory, more like assembly shop, although they make some parts by themself. Ibanez is just a brand name. And I'm saying it as an absolute Ibanez fan.

ESP has their own factory but Ibanez comes up with alot of innovative products (Edge Zero, ZPS, Wizard necks, dyna mix10 system just to name a few!) and still retain high craftsmanship! @@sarjanAbong Ibanez craftsmanship isn't what it used to be unfortunately. I have a RG652AHFMX from three years ago which was / is the starting point for the prestige range. I was looking to upgrade it but none of the new range came close until I got into J. Custom series - and for that kind of money I decided to keep the RG652 and go mental on a USA Custom shop Schecter Sunset II instead.

Back in 1978 I went to the fender guitar factory with Johnny fortune. The one that did soul surfer also went and seen Sharvale skip tar shop also with Johnny fortune you guys are really great when it comes to handcrafting guitars my favorite fender is Sunburst with a maple neck, that is one of the most Beautifullest guitars I’ve seen besides my blue hollow body Graach again I love guitars💖🎸👍🏼

Lee pronounces ‘brass’ like a (UK) Southerner. Here in the North of England we say it correctly, much like the US pronunciation... There is only one ‘r’ in ‘brass’ after all. Just sayin’ ;-)
