Although I like Dan’s vocals when they are layered, I much prefer when he uses his raw voice without the layering like this video behind the scenes. I think it makes his voice/vocals more clearer and more naturally haunting like The Northern Hues in my opinion.

I always did think he relies too much on layered vocals. It's almost nonstop and feels like an overcompensation for insecurity. Let the voice breathe more on its own and sprinkle layers in here and there rather than having them be virtually constant.

@@L33PL4Y Thanks and true I agree, I thought I was the only one who thought this. Also yeah, he rarely ever uses his normal vocal range beautiful voice in some songs from his other music projects featuring him. And I've heard all of his songs.
