Good for u to help your neighbors out! I applaud you for that. And yes, I'm very much aware of the help we get from the US, I don't deny that, however, we do help each other out at the same time. That's why even with the most devastating calamity, we can still work a SMILE coz we know we have each other's back. We are known for our generosity even at our lowest point. Though we're poor, we still extend our help to others coz we know how hard it is to be helpless. Proud to be Pinoy!

I see a video like this one and the hope and caring of a few great artist making an enormous contribution, it makes me almost cry, for we as the human race could do so much good if we'd only respect each person as an idividual. Leave our pride and prejudice behind and honstly make a better world for all. But we don't ... we are more worried about the almight dollar(any medium of exhange) than we are for human life!! SAD

it's not important if you do like this video or not.what's important is that all these people are able encourage those with good hearts to help the people of haiti..mj conveys his message through his songs..i think he's happy because his song was used to tell all people not to lose hope especially during times like this coz there are millions of people who are willing to extend their hands to those who are hopeless and help them stand up once again..i guess their effort are acknowledged by haiti

That is so true. people may like the remake or not the important thing is that we as the world are joined together to help out one another in are time of need. Rather these celebs are doing it for fame is not the issue at hand.

yeah funkoshi, MJ would definitely be in the forefront of singing this updated song. I'm sure he'd even sing some new verses as well. 25th anniversary of anything is a big deal, especially this song which is about Haiti just like the original was about helping Ethiopia. people forget the MESSAGE of the "We are the World" songs, and that is about giving to the world to make it better. We are the World is an ongoing mentality, not just a song in 85 or 2010 that people need to help others.

and people who are wondeing why Justin? because there was so much going on in this song, uniting various musical styles and ALL ages . . . Michael would have been proud to have all the people in there, and to those who say he's rolling over in his grave, he's probably whooping in joy . . . HEEE HEEEE . . . the way only he can do. He was a supporter of many! . . . and a fatherly figure inasmuch as applauding the efforts of all artists. he'd be proud

People are not being forced to donate. It's not mandatory...it's voluntary. If you can find it in your hearts, without prejudice, to help this poor country, then do so. Some say I have no idea the kind of hardship and burden the U.S. is going through? Think again, the company I'm working with laid off 6,000 people! Our friends & colleagues lost their job. Some of them were even working for this company more than I do.

Actually, the problem is, Haiti's POLITICIANS are richer than they ever were, pocketing a lot of the aid money meant to go to the impoverished citizens! That's why I feel that for international relief efforts in any nations, the best way to go is to use smaller relief groups (i.e. church missions groups) that work directly with the people in need and get food, medicine, etc., directly to them without having to get too involved with the local beaurocrats.
