@@angeltomlinson2635 Technically Ratatoille was build in Paris before Disneyland Paris was owned by Disney. But they changed the Tower of Terror up quite a bit as well so I am not sure why they wouldn't go for a more unique thing. Oh well. It's a good darkride regardless.

yes espescially when Disneyland Paris, perhaps the poorest resort of all Disney resorts, payed all the research costs and WDW, the richest resort just copy their Paris exclusivitie.

@@alexandremarchand3938 I don't know what you're talking about, Disneyland Paris is under the same company that handles WDW, and not under the european division anymore. It's been like that for a few years now, and it's the main reason behind the big expansions coming to WDStudios in Paris

WDI still did the 'years of research' and the project was legitimately under development for a long time so it's not wrong what she is saying. Also, building it Florida also requires extra R&D. @@beverlythebird5040 no, remy’s ratatouille adventure was designed SPECIFICALLY for Paris, Disneyland Paris’ second park was a complete flop with no originality and everyone hated it, they made this to try and save the park, it’s based on french culture and what they wanted because they fucked up by not doing that. It was never a test run for WDW. Just like how the tron coaster is literally just Shanghai’s space mountain

Actually no. The screens when running as a rat are different. More fluid and you can’t see the screen stopping point. It’s cohesive. Paris you can see the reflection of the screens on the ground.

Assuming its simular to the one in Paris its a cool ride, went on it 3 times and spotted new things everytime. Amazing combos of physical effects, smells, sounds and 3d screens combine to make you feel just like a rat running around under cupboards, ovens and behind walls and watch out for that champagne cork ;)

So many people are saying ITS THE SAME. but the imagineers upgraded the ride screens and projections. In the Paris version you can see where the screen is and the ending of it along with reflections on the floor. But this one they projected on the ground for a cohesive look. I enjoy this version better. I have to ride it but I am excited!

Wow this blows my mind Remy's Ratatouille Adventure giving Force Perspective giving the illusion City of Lights. The difference between both parks have similarity building facades. However this one from Epcot France pavilion is a little different. It gives the atmosphere more french new restaurants, bakerys, merchant stalls, and the skyline from Paris, France. Including an Eiffel Tower 1/10 scale of the original behind the blue building. Also Seine waterway seen in Ratatouille flows through Paris. Even the streets and alleys almost look like the real thing. 🇫🇷☕🍷🥖🥐🐀

Can’t forgive Disney for not sorting out the main issue with this ride in Paris which is that when you’re looking at the screens on the full screen scenes, you can see the floor and it’s so obvious it is just a screen. There’s no attempt to blend some of the screens with the real world around you - this is mainly an issue with the big screen scenes (first scene and last two)
