Disney reminding me how I struggled in math throughout my school years, not a magical moment
@GMoney-B3 жыл бұрын
I’m right there with you. I am replying to you but also to anyone else who has fallen into the same boat. Don’t be discouraged. Keep at it if it’s what you really want to do. And if you decide that it’s not for you after a good genuine effort, then know that it’s okay and that you will find what is right for you that will bring you the most joy and happiness. Even though math was the number one break down cause in my younger years, I still really liked it and what. You could do with it. Up till probably 19 it as my dream job to become a mech eng and design roller coasters. It’s literally all I thought about. Then I went to my community college and struggled in the placement tests and through math and beg engineering classes. I was absolutely crushed when I realized that I wouldn’t be able to. Plus the program at my college seemed so stale and lifeless. Years later and like three or four majors later, I landed in graphic design and motion graphics. And while I still obsess over ride and roller coaster engineering, building and inventing things of my own, and enjoy theme parks as a hobby too, I am very happy where I’m at. I always loved art and the reason I love graphic design and motion graphics is because it has given me the chance to touch on endless amounts of careers, people’s backgrounds, all sorts of things. Mech engineering, audio/video editing, art, web design, photography; all these past majors, interests experience, and disciplines believe it or not, I have been in able to use quite often. It has made things very exciting. To all who struggle or have struggled with math, you can do it if you really want to. Learn from me and never be afraid to ask questions in class, or get help from your teacher or a tutor. That is what all the smart kids do for real. They get help if they need it.
