I’m really glad you decided in the end to keep the Puppet monologue unvoiced. Imagining the voice on my own, the moment became more touching and intimate, somehow. Even if you were to perfectly recreate the voice of how I read those lines to myself, I don’t think it would feel the same. I bet a lot of people have the same experience with that scene.

2:06 this scene goes hard and I'm kinda sad it wasn't used. I love the vibe of "a horrible accident has occurred at a place that's supposed to be happy." Police lights shining on a colorful stage, a smiling animatronic staring lifelessly with blood on it's face. I think more FNaF content needs to take advantage of the inherent anxiety we feel when something bad happens at a place that's supposed to be safe.

I think it was a great decision to change the malfunctioning endo POV. Before it looks very static and the endo looks at whoever’s recording several times which breaks the immersion. However, in the final POV whoever’s recording is behind a corner, and the endo almost catches them. It really feels like found footage, like someone really wanted to get a quick vid of this before getting the hell out
@tannergatto7633
@tannergatto7633 2 жыл бұрын
I agree it looks much better on a visual standpoint from behind the corner although I do find the direct eye contact the Endo maintains with the POV camera interesting it almost doesn’t care that it’s looking directly at someone and gives me the feeling that attacking was more of a secondary action or made out of desperation and locating Bonnie Bun was it’s main goal here

I definitely find the Companion Call cool and uncanny, but why would the robots need it? I have theories. 1: Echolocation. At night or during a power outage, would the robots use this chime to locate their way around the building? In the case of an outage, the robots would probably need to calm (and entertain?) children, or at least make it back up to the main stage before they shut off due to any mechanical or safety issues. At night, the robots have to move around to prevent "Their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long." (FNaF 1 Call) But I would be disturbed being a guard there, hearing a duet-chime of Happy Birthday. 2: Radar. If the robots were separated into different party rooms to entertain several parties at once, then I'm sure they would be able to find their way back. If they were to need maintenance, to shut down, or for whatever reason, their main map of the facility fails, they could use the chime to locate one another and get to a safe area where they can be fixed/stored until the staff are ready, hence the name "Companion Call". I would say that it is to bring one robot to another, but only Fredbear can initiate the call, and they can probably see each other on their primary map. 3: Performing. This defeats the "calling one robot to another" theory, but what if it were used to call the audience's attention? At the beginning/end of the show, the chime could play to alert the distracted audience to the performers. 4: Maintenance. The call system would be used as a testing system that mechanics would use to test all the sounds the robots are designed to make. It might contain a list going through every note, pronunciation of every letter, and this would probably make maintenance a lot quicker.
@Mr_pizzbruh

I believe it to be the last one as they would need to test if Fredbear and Bonnie Bun can hold a conversation with each other, such as the one that appears during the ending of the last video

I definitely think it's meant for them to locate eachother, but it seems odd for them to use it around customers since it's out of character (and creepy), so maybe it's sort of a test for a system that would be disguised better in public use? Kinda like how Furbys emit high pitch noises to communicate with eachother. Or maybe it's only meant for emergencies, which would make sense because you can hear a fire alarm in the background and narration asking people to evacuate.

It's possible that the endo is possessed itself as well, or perhaps the exoskeleton and fiberglass portions of the suit are. In that way, alongside the way it seems almost dazed and is clearly moving in a way the endos would never have been programmed to do, it seems it is in conflict between the programming and the possession, or controlled by a mixture of both simultaneously. It's hard to tell, but I do suspect the possession of something messed with the programming in some way, even if exactly how will likely never be known. Alongside this, I believe the screeching sound it produces is a mixture of several audio clips it would have playing from it simultaneously, as this would make sense to how it could do that and signify something overloading its sensors, either from the inside or the outside (though the company in a cover up would likely blame it on the alarm).

I just realized something, the animatronics having that "companion call" (which sounds like Happy Birthday) kind of explains the song being played in parts when the Spring Freddy animatronic was crawling on the floor. I think that was the robot realizing that it wasn't where it was suppose to be and calling his companion for help. I'm sure others have already know this but it's such a nice detail to see when you watch this video after that one. Creepy, yet kinda sad. Loving these reimaginings by the way. Oh you are right. Here a comparison Steel wool: bad character writing and inconsistencies, bad story telling that wastes time and takes to long to get to the point, retconning a whole bunch of sh$t (like burntrap ending), forcing characters like William to be a completely different person from previous games. Battington: respects audience by taking feedback and improving on his work and taking time, tries to keep a constant storyline and continuity, zero retconnings, can change the lore to be whatever he wants because it’s a au not a offical sequel, understands what characters like William should be like and keeps him accurate to both canon afton and squimpus afton, great writing and characters, amazing designs, actually being scary as sh$t

I've been really enjoying your FNAF animations a lot. It's hard to find true horror content that isn't just excessive gore and cheap jumpscares. So many points of this series have been genuinely unsettling. I personally really like that you added the shell to the endoskeleton to the birthday song scene. It makes it creepier, both by making the model more uncanny and adding an extra layer of mystery. Is it just a malfunctioning endo? Is there a springlock failure victim in there crying out for help? (sure that question is answered when it attacks, but it's still something i wondered when I first watched) Also, knowing now that the birthday tune is supposed to be a call between Fredbear and Bonnie somehow makes it creepier. Keep up the great work!

the way you animated the malfunctioning endo scene is so, so, so good. i love animatronics in general. of course it's because i grew up with fnaf, but it sparked a real interest in the engineering and artistry behind it. its face is innocent and the movements are just simple and restrained enough that it feels like an entirely believable theme park animatronic breakdown. scary shit! good work :) EDIT: CHIPPING IN AGAIN TO SAY THE FUNCTIONING CYLINDERS ON THE ENDOS FILL ME WITH JOY
