That skid steer is AWESOME! I had no idea they were so agile and fast. Totally loved this. My home state!! Years we have watched the bison and we always have loved them. Awesome creatures! We have been transferred all over via the military life but SD is always "home"............ Thank you for caring about our State and thank you for taking such good care of a tradition that is so USA.......some of the first critters of that land there and the kind of country they need to roam on and grow and just "be"..what they are! I’m thinking the original bison he put at the new ranch were from Texas (the Texas 16). He’s sold and moved some of them though; along with moving some from the original ranch to the new one. This video makes the one from the other day make more sense when he was mentioning the Dakota Pure ones.

This was extremely interesting. It took our household far longer than the actual video minutes to watch as we would stop and discuss, not to mention converting weights to kilograms. I grew up on a livestock farm and was explaining to my city bred partner the different parts, plus having to interpret from English to Japanese (our household is Japanese speaking - in Japan, of course). Have helped with a herd in Indiana years ago. That skid steer makes it So Much Safer to work them. They are such a wonderful animal to study and learn about. So much safer than what we worked with. The shoot we had was a Powder River. Was Will built also. You can’t believe the power the Buffalo are until you have worked them. You can never be to safe when working with them. Also how interesting they are to watch how they take care of themselves in the pasture. Thank You for the videos
