Shorts do not count toward "watch hours" as far as getting monetized is concerned. For a small channel $165 is tangible money in a 90 day period. I dig it. I just got my channel monetized a few weeks ago. You're 100% on point with it being alot of work to get there. Keep it coming man, and cool stuff sharing your actual stats. Many people feel the need to keep a secret like it some sort of juju. I'm rocking a whoppin $17 buck in net profits in the last few weeks. Straight YT baller status! hahaha any, back to the car stuff.

My neighbor who bought the house directly across the street from us does KZbin full time for a living. They have 2+ mill subscribers and do little kids content channel stuff with their 2 young kids. If it’s their only income they must be making some money. The thing people don’t talk about though is once you make a certain level of liveable income from KZbin or you want to grow, the pressure to continue delivery watchable and good content builds. You gotta keep putting out hits after hits. That’s a lot of pressure. I say just do what you love and if it works ok, awesome.

Wow that’s wild. I was always curious on how people go full time KZbin. Not that I would want to. It doesn’t sound like the most reliable source of income but like what do you do after you stop making content? Ya you will still make income but eventually the channel has got to fall off. That’s why I enjoy just making my videos. Little extra income on the side is nice. 🤷♂️

Cleetus McFarland though stands out a lot to me. Dude has like 2 million or more subs and he has a crew, garage, like 15 cars, helicopter and an airport. But like at some point he can’t make content anymore. I think about those people some times for some reason 😂

Most definitely will! I’m curious how the channel will change over time.
