Just did it? With 3 full turns didn’t have to adjust the sensor nut Also changed to softer spring that was a lot harder than the pedal adjustment So much easier to drive day and night Very happy

I would love to see the test with the piece trimmed. Without that piece, all the ram air goes into the hood instead of directed down. To the intake duct.

I do agree. The only reason I didn’t is because so many people on Facebook or the forums asked just by removing. Not necessarily cutting that piece. However I do agree. Cutting some of that off to direct air down sounds more effective. Also what comes to mind though is the radiator support below. With the factory radiator support it could be blowing this air out the support. Really whatever air is stronger. Or the air coming up into the grill could be stronger and prevent the air from coming in. 🤷♂️ lots of variables. I am curious about the stillen duct though. I wish there was a more effective ram air duct for this truck. I made on for my Supra. I feel as if the stillen duct is still kinda inefficient. It’s not really supply air in a ram air like way. Just kinda putting it in that cavity and waiting for the turbo to take it. Where as if there was more of a ram air forcing cool air into the box that would be way more efficient. I’m obsessed with IATs. I’ll figure something out. 😂

@ShayHarambe I'm running the Stillen scoop and I removed the AGS slats blocking airflow to it. I will confirm that I do see Ambient Air temps all time unless the truck adles for a few minutes. I'm in FL, so keeping IAT low is crucial.

I don’t believe so. When I clicked register new battery on BimmerLink it told me to go to bimmercode to register. So I registered it on bimmercode however used BimmerLink to verify and check the health of the battery. Yeah the MHD adapter is what I used so your good.

I’m curious what it weights now. Between all the mods and weight reducing things it’s gotta be lighter than factory. I only say that cause the turbo kit and radials/tires gotta weight more than factory stuff.

Yeah they just started putting them out to the public a few weeks ago. So not a whole lot of info out there yet on them. I’m confident in these transmissions though. They have been testing them on their personal cars for quite some time. I do believe it will. Between Spool and ATS I bet Pure will drop there price.

Love it dude. For the wheels go with a 0 offset and they will fit exactly what you’re looking for. A 17 on a 35 will be 👌🏼👌🏼.

You don't have to take the pin out and spin the bracket. You can leave all that intact and just loosen the nut and spin the shaft accordingly and obviously retighten afterwards. I've done this on my 2017 right away when I bought the car at about 100 miles on the odo. When I got my 2023, which was in late 2022, I totally forgot about this adjustment and I drove it untill 7500 miles without adjusting it. I just adjusted it like last week actually. On my 2017, I also took out the helper spring. On my 2023, I don't really feel the need to do that yet.

Both was stock. Uhh well I blew the engine twice before I sold it 😅 trans never had a problem. I ran a 6 pick with lightweight flywheel.

Thanks for figuring this out and sharing! I just did this adjustment, and have some tips to add for anyone trying this: pliers work well for pulling the U-shape pin out so it doesn’t go flying. When you put it back, make sure you put the straight side through the hole in the rod, not wrapped around the very end with the white plastic ears. Also, a screwdriver works well to pry the metal rod loose while you pinch the white ears with your fingers. Lastly, the nut holding the spin-able bracket in place was stuck hard. I had to hold the bracket with an adjustable wrench while using the 12mm to break the nut free. We’ll see if it was worth all the back pain tomorrow!

@@ShayHarambe Never once has this been an issue in my car in over 92K miles, I got 58k on my oem clutch. 32k on an s2 clutch, now only 5k out of my last clutch. My mechanic installed both, & they were the ones to deliver the bad news on the current clutch. I asked them about pedal adjustments on hydraulic clutches and he couldn't help me. So once I get it back I'll def be under it. I STILL HAVE YET TO SEE ANY 2015+WRX Video/form/ link regarding this. The only info related to this situation is for 86/brz/frs. Hence why I'm looking for confirmation from other WRX owners.

So I spoke with spool performance and he did confirm the stage 2 transmission kit will hold up to 1,000ft lb torque "To Wheels" which is awesome. This gives us capability to go up to 7275 Next Gen Turbo if we wanted in future LoL

😂 base model Nissan Altima $27,000 has wireless CarPlay and leds 🤷♂️ Base model Honda civic hatch has wireless CarPlay with leds and that’s $24,995 🤷♂️ Just to name a few. Entry level models too. It’s more so they cheaped out.

My initial was with a wired set up. Honestly the wireless dongle kinda sucks. So it will keep saying the wifi connection required however you want a little notification to pop up giving you the option to use mobile data or connect to wifi. You want to click use mobile data.
