Went to this site many times on school field trips not long after it became a museum. Love going here no matter how many times I've been. Neat part of history preserved. You won't find another place like it because it doesn't exist .

Is it true that some markings from the Star Trek productions are still left on the missile?

Yes, there is still a marking left on the reentry vehicle adapter ring that’s visible from level 2 viewing windows…a serial number that I believe represented the warp drive for filming.

There are additional markings near the base of the missile that can be seen from Level 7.

Imagine a 81 Yr old man with dementia , sitting in soiled diapers safely in a bunker with decades of food and water at hand sending these missles into the air. Absolute madness
