See how an art exhibition is made. Join us for a special behind-the-scenes look of "Young Art 2021: My World, Our Planet."
This special exhibition presents inspiring and thought-provoking student works of art centered around the theme of the environment and sustainability. Kindergarten through twelfth-grade students expressed innovation and creativity through artwork that conveys a sustainable message or sensitivity to the environment and passion for conserving natural resources, while taking inspiration from the Museum’s collection.
For over ninety years, The San Diego Museum of Art has celebrated the artistic talents of local youth with Young Art, a biennial juried exhibition.
"Young Art 2021: My World, Our Planet" is on view March 26 through May 9, 2021. This exhibition has free admission inside Gallery 14/15, located near the entrance to Panama 66.
In addition to the works presented in the exhibition, "Young Art 2021: My World, Our Planet" features virtual offerings and interactive activities including family-friendly activities.
