I worked as a still photographer for many years and the pictures you see here are called BTS photos. The still photographer is in the same union as the camera crew which is the Local 600. The still photos bring an interesting element to how a picture is made and it documents the era the time the movie was made plus it shows another personality to the actors. The main job of the still photographer is to document each scene so the studio will be able to use the photos to promote the movie. I really enjoy seeing the photos from movies I enjoyed seeing as a kid growing up in the 60’s and 70’s.

After watching “A Night To Remember” which was made in 1958 I saw Honor Blackmans name in closing credits. Second time watching I looked for her character. She played the wife (with 2 children) of a very brave and honorable man who did not survive. She looked beautiful.

Wonderful set of photos. Who knew Jill Masterson patiently allowed the assassin to coat her in gold paint with an airbrush? I had my friend Marty come along & spend the night. I'd seen the pic of the gold naked girl in my dad's TIME magazine & told Marty to watch for it in the movie. Great momories!! Big sis is dead now.

Hello rom England Sean was the "ONLY BOND" for me for many reasons but although i was born in 1965 i still love the decade TODAY for its films, TV, fashion pop culture ETC. When ITV bought the rights around 1974 ish from MGM to show the films i watched them and over time all the films have been on TV and i have watched them again up until Pierce took over. What was it about SEAN. He just had that "SOMETHING EXTRA" Quite like ELVIS. Everywhere Sean went he was MOBBED and all the GIRLS would SCREAM What was it about the Bond Franchise with the first 5 films I can only describe it like this My late parents lived through the 1950's and up until 1954/5 rationing was still around. Everything was DRAB, BLACK & WHITE and what was at the theatre or on TV if you were lucky to have one or at the cinema was playing out their own lives 'the kitchen sink' and their lives were so HUM DRUM Once Dr No came along EVERYTHING TO TO TECHNICOLOUR. It gave them ESCAPISM. Far off EXOTIC places, fast cars, champagne, casinos and someone who was licenced to kill
