I love how Chaos keep innovating. Wish the monthly licensing was a little cheaper, it’s literally double the cost if you want to pay monthly. I understand you get a discount for paying upfront but double makes it feel like a slap in the face.

no doubt that vantage is coming in a big way, but need Animated trees and assets like unreal Engine market place.

Very impressive and big news for VFX studios! It's great to see real time being achievable with Vray assets within the already established ecosystem of 3dsMax/Maya. I still think something needs to be done to "merge" Vray, Vray GPU and Vantage, right now, these are separate products with separate licensing. Also, Phoenix support and further development! Seeing Phoenix simulations in real time in Vantage would be huge, and continued development is needed to get it closer to Houdini in terms of functionality and realism.

When we did a film called Adipurush we used non LED based VP. I can totally see this being a very valid proposition for Bollywood studios so it's great to see this evolving at chaos. For vfx studios that want least amount of friction to go from DCC to LED this (and Nuke) may be the ticket. Vald, do I reach out to you via your resellers in Mumbai to see if we can test this out on some setups ? Cheers, b

I bought the Corona license for 3DS MAX and it is not released. I'm trying to open a ticket and there's an error in the system and I can't even generate the ticket.

Ergh. I wished the video wasn't produced at 25fps. Everything looks juddery at our standard 60hz computer monitors. Video production needs to break out of PAL/NTSC legacy. If it were a 30/60fps video this would all look so much more silky and high spec.

What about your favorites movies ? Are they juddery too ? Because all of them are at 24 fps. Including the "fast" ones like Top Gun and Fast and Furious.
