We used it almost nightly in the following weeks. It is very thrifty on fuel. We ran it for about 20 minutes on high at the start of the evening, then on low for the rest of the night if we needed it. The remote control make it easy to adjust settings without leaving bed.

Very helpful video and amazing security for those catalytic converters,. I really like that you include actual references to the products you have installed and your thoughts on them. Great work. I have a question also: what year is your Sienna?

We have a 3rd generation Sienna, 2013. Still going strong!

Hi love your tank idea did you make the tank out of ABS or PVC pipe or is it a metal tank
@dougmaryhittheroad Жыл бұрын
Thanks. The tank is 4-inch PVC. I researched it and found that PVC, and PVC glue, is impervious to fuels like diesel. I drilled the top and inserted a short section of 2-inch for the filler with a cleanout fitting for the cover. At the bottom I dripped and tapped a threaded outlet. I also added a little breather valve. If I’m going to need the heater at night, I’ll open the breather to make sure the pressure is equalized. If I would do anything different, I would add a couple baffles midway inside to keep the fuel from sloshing around. Not a problem if it is full, bu I can hear it if it is half-full. A round PVC floor drain cover would fit inside perfectly and glue in securely. I would have done aluminum since it would have been lighter, but adding the fill tube and outlet would have been very difficult. So far, it has worked well and been leak proof.
