Gorgeous garden! The fast camera panning makes it hard to watch though.

Hello and thanks for taking the time to comment. I'm trying to get steadier---trying to move more slowly and have gotten a gimbal. So hopefully they'll get better over time! 🤞
@SleepyKittens
@SleepyKittens 4 жыл бұрын
@@eGardenGo Maybe have someone else shoot it for you. It is not the steadiness so much as the whip fast panning. It started out well paced during the front yard, then deteriorated from there. Shots of the seating areas and bldgs are fine, but really, we are garden-centric and prefer the paths and plants. Maybe just shoot a small section at different times. Not feeling appreciated when the host is rushing to finish.

Thanks for sharing. Have been watching your garden being transformed over the months and you’ve achieved an incredible amount! Love that it’s full but has great clarity throughout. Definitely a fan of your different seating areas - it makes every “room” inviting and more personal. Real inspiration here and thanks again for a “real” and loved garden, not just a show horse. Wishing you all the best.

This has to be one of my favorite gardens I’ve ever seen! It really accomplishes the “garden room” style I’m wanting so desperately in my garden. What size garden do you have? The separate sections really make it feel big and luxurious...oh my gosh, I’m so in love with it.🥺❤️✨🌿🦋 I think I’ll watch this multiple times to try and learn how you did this. I’d love a slower version where you explain a little more detail how you accomplished this style of garden. I love all the little surprise seating areas.💖

I’ve watched so many of your videos over the past week or so and I think you’re converting me from being only a fan of Japanese Gardens. 😄 I have so many screenshots of your Rhododendrons that are on my wishlist now, too. I’ve tried to find the info on the steel edging you mentioned you’ve shared before, but I haven’t been able to find it in any videos, Instagram or Facebook posts. If you have the time to share, I’d appreciate it, especially the height and gauge. Thank you from Michigan! ✌️😊
@eGardenGo
@eGardenGo 2 ай бұрын
Glad to have influenced you re: the wonderfulness of the lesser-known, foliage-first rhodies. Unfortunately, your question about the steel edging in my side yard garden isn’t that easy to answer succinctly. That particular steel edging was a custom installation due to its height length and curvature. There are many DIY projects one can do with steel edging, but that particular one was not that. I think the best way to think about it is that working with this edging is a combination of several influences: the height of the revealed edge, the thickness of the steel you’re using, and whether you are making curves or rectilinear forms. I wish I had an easy and straightforward answer for you :-)
@finnllow
@finnllow 2 ай бұрын
@@eGardenGo thanks! I used 12-gauge Corten steel on an art project and think it’s probably a little too stiff for curves. I want it tall enough to see, but don’t want to trip and stub my toes non-stop. I’ll figure it out. 😊

At 5:19 why is that small reddish plant with multiple tiny leaves next to the green plant on the left side. I have this growing in my yard volunteer and always pull it up thinking it is a weed. This year I decide to just let it grow to see what it turns out to be. PictureThis identified it as Mimosa but I dont think that is what it is because the leaves dont fold, could be wrong.
