Good video. But what I'm interested in, as I am sure others are too, are the logistics and cost. Just for a weekend trip. Leaving Friday morning, travelling from the West Country to Gatwick, what time in the morning? Cost of transport. Cost of flights to and from Gran canaria, cost of taking bikes on the plane. What time you'd land in Gran Canaria and get to the hotel/ B&B or wherever. How much riding you can fit in and what time to leave on Sunday to get back to the West Country by the evening. Just asking from the perspective of someone with limited budget and holiday allowance :) ... Would the Algarve possibly be a better winter cycle escape?

Hello GCN Team, thank you for the great cycling entertainment you deliver on KZbin, this is top work, and the size of your ever-growing audience speaks volumes. While cycling across Northern Thailand in Jan/early Feb, I was thinking of your training plan for the next Taiwan KOM. Road 1097 and 1148 between Chiang Klang and Chiang Kham, Road 1249 from Fang to Doi Ang Khang and back. Of course Road 1095 to Pai and Mae Hong Son. But don't forget Road 1263 between Khun Yuam and Mae Chaem. I now know how to spell "epic". Looking forward to the next show. (A special thought for Matt who gives us in our late 40s and above a lot of motivation).

Great video guys, really enjoyed this type of content! Just some quick questions: would you recommend travelling by plane with you carbon bike packed up in the original cardboard bike box you received it in? Would it be a big risk? Or is the investment in a proper bike bag worth it (because they are pretty expensive)? And then again, rather hard or soft shell? Cheers. #torqueback
@gcn6 жыл бұрын
+Marc W Hey Marc, good question. Plenty of people do travel with cardboard boxes but, for me a quality bike bag (hard or soft shell depending on budget - there are good examples of both) has always seemed worth it - I don't want to take any chances with my bike or arrive at my destination with a bike I can't ride.
