With almost 250km of mountainous terrain to conquer, climbing the height of Everest in the process, this is probably the hardest sportive in the world. As a 57-year-old lockdown newbie to cycling, I think Ollie is amazing. It's largely down to him and the videos you guys produce that have got me from 86kg to 74kg and 300km+ a week in 12 months. To be honest, when I saw the title of this video where 250km and over 8000 meters of elevation, It gonna be Hank again. To my surprise, it was Ollie who is up to this challenge. And I'm pretty excited as we know Ollie is not a pro, but a hardcore enthusiastic cyclist like us, challenging such a gruesome ride. Thing goes pretty well until he had a pretty hard fall which you can see not only from the bruise, but also the torn bib short, and manage to complete top 25 with a ride over 8000 meters. Earned every respect from me and probably every other person watching this video. Thumbs up Ollie, good job, you deserved the best beer they have to offer over there !

Nah the legs just won't work hard enough to get you out of breath when you bonk like that. The legs feel both hollow and heavy at the same time and all you want to do curl up in a ball by the side of the road and have a snooze. But you know you mustn't, it all gets a bit emotional. All you can do is tell yourself that you don't mind that it hurts and to plod on without looking at the numbers.
