Great video! I never remember to check Instagram - just too many places to follow people and I stick to sewing videos on KZbin like the one you just posted. I particularly like that you pointed out how the selvedge distorts the fabric and keeps it from lying flat and can be trimmed off before cutting the pattern pieces out - you'll never find information like that in the pattern directions!

Hi Barbara. These BTS videos are not a replacement for the step-by-step sew alongs. In fact, I'm planning to follow some of the BTS videos up with a sew along of the same garment. So, I actually think these videos will enhance the sew alongs as viewers will get to see the garment behind the scenes before the sew along.
