I usually pass on the patterns with low necklines because I did not feel confident enough to alter them, but I will try it out next time. Love the twill tape finish on the back neckline!

Hi Anita, thank you for this video. I would like to add more coverage to my wrap dress. I noticed when more coverage is drawn in how do you attach the skirt piece because now the bottom of the bodice is long around the girth. Should I add more gathering so the notches match????

Hi, I love this dress and made a similar dress, the Ravello by Sew over it. With that dress I found the sleeves restricted movement. How is this dress in that area? Thank you

Hi Lisa! The slewves on this dress were not restricting at all. I wore it to church on Sunday and I raise my arms when we’re singing. No restrictions. The dress is very comfortable.🤗

I find it difficult to cut out this type of fabric. How do you keep it from slipping and moving around? Do you starch it? Gorgeous dress!

When I have slippery fabric to work on (and there are all sorts), I use a lots of pins when laying out the fabric for cutting. If it's a fabric where pin marks will show, I take care that the pins are only placed in the seam allowance to avoid spoiling the fabric. I wouldn't use starch because then there is the problem of removing it from the fabric and some types of fabric like silks would end up with spots.

I use my rotary cutter and the fabric doesn't move. I follow along the inside of the rotary cutter with my fingers, pressing on the fabric to make sure the fabric doesn't fold or bubble as I'm cutting (if necessary). The rotary cutter works much better than the dressmaker shears when cutting slippery fabrics (my opinion).
