Behind the Scenes with Wētā Workshop on The Creator

Wētā Workshop designed and manufactured the lead character and hero military costumes and specialty props for The Creator. We approached the design and manufacture knowing the film’s crew needed to be light on their feet, leading to a modular design philosophy where nearly everything was multipurpose. The result was specially crafted pieces that could be mixed and matched to create a series of specialty costumes.

I think wetter workshop is possibly showing us a glimpse of the actual future, the quality of their work stands out head and shoulders above anything that Hollywood could imagine! I would like to see their take on a good Star wars project if one could ever exist again,

This was incredible to watch. What an incredible movie, what an incredible team! As a Sci Fi fan, cinematographer, camera geek and hardware product designer, this is manna. I’ve literally never been such a fan in my life 😂. The behind the scenes of this film has caused waves that will ripple for a long time to come 🙌🏿🤍💥⚡️✨

Sorry but that was the most boring sci-fi film I've seen in years. Cliche, usual tropes and the girl that is the key to every thing. Wow so imaginative, so brave. I won't be buying a single thing from this film because in ten years no one is going to know or care about this stuff. More warhammer please!
