I would looooove to get my hands on the glorious tom drum samples used all over the score and the synth that Hans used for those arpeggio and ostinato in that 1SQ cue. They're both just massive!!!

Great video as always, Ashton. Not gonna lie, my go to keys are C minor and D minor as well as exploration of their mediants because they're most comfortable for me. I am venturing out to try and be fully comfortable in every key though to have some variation in my writing.

Sorry but I just discovered your channel. What is the software music program you use? There was an indirect reference to it being Cubase below, but is that correct? Also, did you have to load any symphony samples to it, or does it come with all the sounds we hear in Crimson Tide. Thanks in advance.

Glad to see you back here with another 'Behind The Score', Ashton! Excellent, as always! If you have time to answer this question: what are some of the best libraries for writing solo string/brass/woodwind pieces (in and amongst Sus. intruments)? Ex: CSSS, CSS, Spitfire Solo Strings, Orchestral Tools products

Would love to see your breakdown on Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. Underrated score by Harry Gregson-Williams and a fantastic take on the swashbuckling genre.

he started using an APPLE Laptop, when he was on his journey into Life. Its nice to watch Ashton getting better and better. He can do this stuff in any DAW as long the Libraries work and he knows how to "ride" CC1 CC11 and so on. I watched any of his streams, and i learned a lot how to integrate Orchestral Stuff into Cubase. Thanks alot Ashton!

Nice work, but as a professional musician who plays all genres of music one piece of advice I would I wouldn't make too many changes to classical music such as this the guitar was a bit much and quite a different contrast, but not necessarily a great one, other than that nice break down
