Hilarious everyone in the comments on this episode from 8 days ago is saying it has to be Sara who wrote this when they saw her head fly off. But this says Colin, Mike and Mike Diva, director wrote it. Definitely see the influence from The Christmas Carol piece with the coin in the eye, and various gags like here. Horror/Comedy has always been my favorite genre. If there are even enough to make up a genre. It's seldom done, and can get corny quick is why not too many try. But my favorite feeling in a film is expect to be scared, and something funny happens instead. Can't do it too often in a film, or you get into "Airplane" type comedy and lose the horror aspect also. But it's been done a handful of times. Hope to see a lot more Mike Diva work

Velma has feminism, slut shaming and mean spirited characters. Worst show Eva! Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated has feminism (The Secret Serum), slut shaming (Grimm Judgement) and mean spirited characters. Bestesh Shew Eva!!!
@rocksfire43906 ай бұрын
one SNL episode (entire episode) is like 3-4 million dollars. no idea where you hear it being lower budget lmao. highest Velma might cost 20-25 million for 10 episodes. this is pushing it though, no way Velma has the team size/costs that something like Family Guy has and Simpsons is even higher. might only cost them 500k - 1 million per 20 min episode. then you got the run lengths, doing a very short, zero story skit isn't anything like putting together a story. talking 5 mins vs 200 mins, it isn't a small difference.

A good season. Again we had some very funny hosts. And they really threw themselves into it. This made for some very memorable sketches. I also think that the cast is really coming together. It's one thing to have some talent and get hired- it's another thing to really fit in, for weekly sketch comedy. When several leave in a short period of time - it can take Loren a few seasons to really dial in a cast that is heavy on talent. And this looks like this group is getting pulled together. Years from now - this will probably be remembered as a good cast group. There's really a lot of talent in this particular cast.
@maryschroeder15336 ай бұрын
Let's all give the correct credit to Mikey Day and Colin Jost for writing this. They've been doing this kind of stuff a lot longer than Sarah. They previously wrote A Christmas Carol and Farewell, Mr. Bunting.
