It has worked well for folks over the years. We've been telling people about it for about 8 years now. Most of the corrupt cops are looking for the easy payout -- I will seize your license etc until you pay the ticket OR you can pay here. It lets them know that is not an option and you know it. In those 8 years, we have heard from a few dozen people who said it worked in their cases. One guy even got out of a DUI in Tulum with it. He said the officer was pissed but the supervisor let him go after reading it.

I was grabbed 1mo ago. He said where's then drugs. I said i dont do drugs. He said where ID. I said i have ID. He drove me 25min away, not the normal round the corner. He said you pay me or else I transfer you, they'll pay me for you. I had to make a call and give the phone to him. I was let go. That was an interesting situation and I was lucky to say the least. Very lucky. I fully dont trust any cops there after that. I didnt really before but now, I REEEEEEALLY don't

I've always had this surfer/stoner/big lebowski thing going on and got messed with by police in the US for my entire life. My cousin once joked and said "I feel sorry for you man. Cops think you're a criminal and criminals think you're a cop". I've lived in Mexico for about two years and have had exactly zero incidents with the police but in Hawaii and California bullshit interactions with police was almost a monthly thing for me.

Back in the day, when I used to live in Mexico, i was driving on a three lane street that would go through 2 towns. I was driving on the right lane on a curve when a truck driving on the middle lane invaded my lane and hit me. Cops came by, insurance people, and all that stuff. I wasnt worried at all bwcause it wasnt my fault and ny car had little damage. Imagine my surprise when I get a letter from my insurance stating that I was considered at fault becuae I was invading his lane. Wanna know how? So remember i said this street ran throughout two towns? So, in one town's books, the street has three lanes but in the other's it has two lanes, even though the WHOLE street has three lanes painted. Guess which town the accident happened.

Looooooool the masked fully automatic weapon holding woman with her entourage of four cops also armed and some masked literally said "fuck you" in english and laughed while they illegally searched and detained me on the side of the road, unprovoked except I rode by. I have been on a long bicycle tour for months, just passing thru. Basically was tackled and forcibly searched while they aggressively pressed me about drugs and firearms. No one asked for id or even my name. I was continuously threatened until they knew I wasn't going to answer questions and had their sadistic power tripping fun and let me go. Lmfao at using the written law on corrupt police let alone in Mexico.
