What a fascinating story behind this shot. Wow... using a pano as the composite background. Very smart. And it makes me think about how I could use this. It's a lesson in how to capture multiple shots so that you. have 'tools' to create a final view.

Exactly. I can picture lowering opacity to see the original reference shot to line up the frame of the windows.

OK interesting. He says he uses the canon 24 mm tilt shift and an extender when necessary to give him a 35 mm tilt shift view which I guess is the best way to achieve that focal length w tilt shift. Cool idea. And still using the good old 5ds

That’s how I interpreted it too, but looking back I wish I’d followed up on it. I’ve never, ever, heard of using those two pieces together.

I was expecting that he uses the Canon r5. I wonder if he has tried that and has some solid reasons for staying DSLR.

@tomtracy5396 I find that most photographers are such creatures of habit, or maybe creatures of staying comfortable is a better way to word it. Otherwise no one would be staying with Lightroom, hahahah.
