Bro today's generation is holding ideology of Tamil nationalism that's why they ignore periyar... But during our father or fore father's time periyar has greater impact that's the reason we don't have surnames even today. There are many leaders even before and after periyar and there is no doubt on that. We should be happy if someone has put efforts for the public, let his mother tongue be different. There is no point in playing Tamil language politics like seeman etc... And there is no point in considering politician speeches , even they use periyar for their own benefit. If they follow periyar truly their might have been greater changes....
