Love the song but going to do some adjustments, going to pull out the parts that suggests God was nailed on a cross and was humble to the grave God is a spirit he can't die nor be nailed the man Christ Jesus was a vessel possessed by God given up for mankind risen up by God exalted by the spirit of God and glorified no more Marie's son glorified with God himself his look, God is still everlasting even though the look of the son of man remains God remains who he is everlasting
@shintaroiwata7732 Жыл бұрын
@@keneilrichards4342 well Jesus (God nature) didn't die but he experienced the grave (wrath of god) I think. But yah, I get it, a bit misleading but I think that's what the author meant.

My church choir sung this at my son's funeral. My son was a Christian and, in my mind, I saw him running into the arms of our Lord. My son is with the Lord and I can't wait to be with him again. What a glorious song of joy! Thank you for the magnificent job you did.

Dear Becky, my heart goes out to you, here is some encouragement. The beauty of everlasting life in Christ Jesus is that we will see each other again, and while praising the Lord we will enjoy the company of all the believers (John 14:1-6). Beholding the victory of Christ on the cross of cavalry is our blessed hope (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

Fantastic. This was sung at my church this morning, but it was just a handful of people on the stage. I am reminded of a time a radio pastor spoke of a crowd hearing the Hallelujah Chorus at Moody Bible Institute. During a silence, an elderly man cried out, with tears in his eyes, "That's MY God they are singing about!". Just a wonderful performance from CBU, and yes, it did make my eyes tear up, because that is my God they are singing about.

This is one of my all-time favorite true worship hymns!! In true worship God is at the Center where He belongs! The truth is proclaimed, not just a romantic feeling. Your facial expressions show that you enjoyed exalting Him in that way. You are all blessed from the front row to the back. You've probably graduated and moved on into the work force, but never forget this day that you worshiped the Lord together in a way that He is worthy of.

I came across this a couple of years ago and was astonished then that I had never heard this before. This has become (by far) the most powerfully written words and performed miraculously by the choir and band. This past Sunday I came as close to death (health issues) as I have ever come and for me my perspectives changed so quickly. Everything of material worth and value both earthly and heavenly faded away and the only thing that mattered was hearing him say enter in. A heart that fights sin, will fight sin no more. A body that is aging will no longer age. I would be happy to sit on a street corner if the weight of sin was no more. I turned on the computer this evening and saw this video pop up. No words more powerful, or more life gripping have I heard. Thank you so much for those who toiled in long practice sessions to bring it to life. You have blessed me dearly.
