Very good, I'm building mine now, waiting on the 1050. I see a few German sites have it. Thank you for sharing this.

Behringer is taking over man, amazing stuff!

Excellent! A tempting combo.

As long as they do the work, for the price, I really don't care for packaging that much. Just purchased this and other system 100 modules from Behringer for around $40-75 dollars each on Sweetwater.. They sound and do the work pretty damn good!

got em both, love em both - 1027 defo needs quantiser though, massive range
@synthesizer832 жыл бұрын
A range switch would also do. Problem is that there is no quantiser in the whole series, so you really have to tune by ear. I love that.

I have a 2HP Tune but now need more.. my question is does the 2HP Tune force the incoming CV to the closest octave with C4=261.6Hz.. A4=440Hz..? ..or does it just send out CV scaled evenly in the scale you are in and then you tune the oscillator..? thank you for your answer in advance..
@synthesizer834 ай бұрын
I don't have the 2hp TUne, but usually quantizers like it do the second thing, i.e. they output voltage in the selected scale, but you still have to tune your oscillator to the base note.

Hi! How do you connecting this modules in the back panel? There are two sockets. One, have 10 pins and the other have 12. 10 for the power supply and 12 to the other module, but, the other module needs power too? thx.
@synthesizer8311 ай бұрын
They both need power. You can also run them side by side without the additional connection. It's only for sync.

Have you connected the 1027 and 1050 with the 12pin cable? How do they work together? The manual is vague. “These 8 gate output signals are also available via the 12-pin GATE OUT LINK CONNECTOR located on the module underside. This 12-pin connector can connect to and trigger other compatible modules, such as the MIX-SEQUENCER MODULE 1050, via a 12-pin ribbon connector.”

Yeah the manual is seriously crap. But you're right, you can connect the 12 pin connector to the 1050. The 1050 has a mode where it then follows the 1027. However, the 1050 is really strange in some points (steps remain lit, cannot be deactivated, etc.). Still figuring it all out to provide a proper review about it.

@@synthesizer83 Thanks. I just received the 1050 from Sweetwater. Your video was great and has me inspired to try it out.

@@synthesizer83 There is always a step active unless you turn the counter to off position.
@synthesizer832 жыл бұрын
@@jounistenroos8801 True, but I don't get the idea behind that. Perhaps there is none, and the counter just has to be off.

@@synthesizer83 These videos are super helpful in every sense. But still waiting to find a proper full review on the 1050 Mix "Sequencer", as I have still not seen anyone on YT patch it or explained it fully. Is it even possible to use alone without the 1027, and as sequencer? Please continue making these excellent videos. You have done such a great job so far. Thanks!

cool but must an attenuator for the 1027's cv out
@synthesizer832 жыл бұрын
The 1027 doesn't have one, and it also doesn't have a range switch. But the Oscillator from the Arp 200 series has attenuators for the cv inputs, so that's ok.
