Thanks for the great video, does the p16m store and recall even if it is unplugged from the cat5 (when used as the power source)? Thanks!

Great video, the church I was just hired at has multiple set ups and one was having and issue where either the left or the right wasn't putting out signal. We've changed the 1/4 inch adapters and cables. Any other suggestions?

Great demo...!!! Thanks a lot. How about a demo of a drum machine...specially for trios, let’s say bolero ritmos. Again, thanks a lot.

I recently bought this and use Xair18. I haven't found how to send reverb or FX to vocals in the P-16m. I've seen it for X32 which has more settings but do you know if Xair18 has a way? I've played around in the In/Out tab of the Ultranet but doesn't do what I'm needing. It actually cuts out certain channels when I click on the channels and change around. I'm assuming due to the limitations of the Xair18, this function may not exist for the Xair18?

You will have to reroute channels. In the Xair app there is a button on the upper right hand corner called "In Out" it has an up and down arrow as a symbol. Click that button. Go to the tab called "Ultranet". It is the fourth icon from the left. Click the Ultranet icon. Lets assume that you only need 12 channels for your mix and you have channels 13-16 open. Down the left side are your P16 channels, called "Ultranet 1" numbered 1-16. Go to the row labeled "Ultranet 13" follow across till you get to "Effect 1". Right click the cell that is the intersection of Row 13 and the column Effect 1. Select post fader to start with. On your X-air mix application load a reverb on Effects 1 and go into a channel on the FX1 mixer page and turn up the reverb for that channel. Make sure the master is up on FX 1 (but do not turn up FX1 in the FX1 page as that will cause an internal feedback loop). Go to your MAIN LR page and turn up the EFF1 channel. Solo the LR output and adjust the reverb to taste, but at least loud enough that you can clearly hear it. Now, on your P16, turn up channel 13 and see if you can hear the reverb. Go back to the "in Out" page and right click on that same cell again and select the send at every point while turning the levels up and down. Decide which option best suites your needs. Chances are you will not want the original one, but you might.

I hope this is not too late to ask, but in my church the concole has vocals on channel 1~16, and the instruments are on channel 17~32. How do I customize my P16 when I need some vocals ,and some instruments at the same time ( total of lets say 12 channels )?

Not sure if this is still active. I tried to link several stereo channels, let's say ch1-2 and then ch5-6, but I was not able to do it...i was only able to do ch1+2 Or ch5-6...Did i miss something?

I have a question about the P16m... can't find the answer anywhere. I've noticed the lights behind the EQ knobs differentiate between settings. Is it based on the level of that particular knob?
@stevenhirsch79889 жыл бұрын
John Beyer If you ever find out the answer to that question, please let us know? The so-called "manual" doesn't really cover much of anything in depth.
@harryoliff47248 жыл бұрын
+Steven Hirsch So, the answer is, (according to a youtube overview I just watched), when you recall a scene, you are bringing up a whole bunch of new EQ settings, and obviously those will, in all likelihood, be different from the current settings that the EQ knobs are showing.... It is preferable that the EQ settings do not simply jump to what is shown on the EQ knobs when you hit that saved scene, because the EQ is a saved aspect of the scene - not global. So, they are dull-lit until you turn that particular EQ knob to the point that is saved in that scene - once you turn it to that point, it becomes bright-lit to show that it is LIVE; i.e. displaying the actual value. The limiter knob on the other hand, is global, and its light simply gets brighter the more limiting is taking place.

+Harry Oliff Yes, after contacting Behringer tech support I discovered that is the case. If you want to re-discover where a channel is actually set, slowly rotate the control until the ring lights up - you may have to try both directions. Still, it would be helpful if this important feature was actually documented in the user guide. I'm happy with the Behringer products I own, but their documentation falls far short of what it should be.

@@stevenhirsch7988 I'm surprised they didn't make them endless rotary encoders with an led ring to show where it's set at so it could just jump to whatever settings are stored. I wonder why they didn't. It couldn't have cost that much more for 4 knobs to be endless instead. Maybe on the next version.

Is there a way to reset the P-16m and start from scratch?
@drlanford7 жыл бұрын
Not that I know of, but a good solution we've found is to store a zeroed-out preset and recall it when you want to start from scratch.

Do you mean the quality of their old products, or including the new ones like X Air 12,16, 18? Thanks. I'm debating whether to get the QSC Touchmix-8 or wait for the X Air 12
@francisadjartey4 жыл бұрын
Behringer innovates and the others follow. More over their products are cheap to learn from. Until the best are produced, sit and wait. Knowledge is power.
