I never thought about using both of these drum machines together. I have the RD-6 and the RD-9 and they work well together, but I'm enticed to acquire the RD-8 now. Very nice jam.

You should def be doing that it’s a classic sound. Side chain the rd9 kick to the rd8 via compressor so it starts ducking, get a nice pump and swing.

@@SpikedCollar666 I still have the RD-8 on my sight, but It seems the prices are rising. I'll probably wait for a discount or buy some more time until I can afford it. I have a signal processor that has a compressor effect (Behringer FX2000 Virtualizer) but it cannot sidechain; it seems a proper analog compressor might be priority before the RD-8. Can you recommend me one?

So many things to love... Awesome tunes & Killer t-shirt. Which of the Behringer mixers are you using (I can't make my mind up of which one to get myself) ? Also, what are you using for the effects (is it the ones built into the mixer)? Thanks for sharing.

Thank you ! I was using the xenyx x1222 usb with the built in plate reverb fx.
