Hi! Love the sound and even more so that you managed to get these two to work together without any modules. I'm struggling quite a bit with the connection, I set the Zs lead channel to enable midi out and clock out on channel 6 and set the td-3 to midi over usb, 48ppq and receive on channel 6. still won't make any sound or get started at all. I tried all other ppqs as well as different channels on both devices (always the same one ofc). I've played around with the other midi settings (1 through 8) on the Z as well, bt with no luck. Would you be so kind and share your connection details as a starting point for me and the rest of the internet? There doesn't seem to be any other how to and you're the only one delivering actual prove that it's working.

i heard using external sequencer for the TD3/MO makes it sound less special compared to with its internal secuencer, is that any true?

hi guys, The proposed configuration via USB MIDI or DIN MIDI simply does not work no matter how hard I try. I have tried it via USB and via the OP-Lab module and there is no way for it to work. Does anyone know of a link that lists the exact parameters for both the TD-3 and the OP-Z? Thank you

Hi, with the clock sync via usb the opz it’s the master, remember to set “midi clock in the opz app. The midi in the td3 it’s to usb. You can set also the sync to “auto” in the behringer app. If use the Oplab you must change the midi clock to midi. The Opz it’s the worst groovebox, sequencer ever Made. Don’t buy it. I’ve always problems with the sync and recently I’ve notice a bad connection with the oplab with the opz. If you want to emprove the connection in the OPZ just add a little paper to fit better the connection and pressure between the oplab and the opz. I’m not anymore a fan of the TE products: bad quality and expensive toys.

I've managed to use 5 pin MIDI to play an OP-Z sequence into TD-3, (via Retrokit 006) then use OP-Z Master track to transpose bass line up and down, but I've not been able to do that over a direct USB connection. Is that possible? What I would really like to know though, is if it's possible to connect the OP-Z to TD-3 via USB and trigger a TD-3 internal pattern (using OP-Z clk/start/stop), but then also be able to transpose it by pressing a note key on the OP-Z instead of pressing the pitch key on TD-3.

Yes! No need to oplab module, you can do it with usb type C

Great Ive tried to sync mytd3 over usb but cant figuere out how to? I use a usb midi interfache 🤔

Have you checked from the app the opz as “send Midi Clock”? If your connection is with midi cable (thanks the interface) you have to set “midi” in your td3. In this video I’ve connected with usb from opz to td3 (here the setting for midi was “usb”)

i figured out that i needed to put the td3 on write mode and pitch mode needs to be on if you want to send external sequence to the td3

You need to check op-z's midi config using the app

I had the same problem, . I can get the OP-Z to follow the TD-3 but not the other way around with one exception. If I plug the TD-3 into my computer it's like it "wakes up" somehow and then the OP-Z can discover it until next time it has been switched off then it all starts again!

So the Op-Z is the master and the Behringer is slave? How did you sync them? I myself am trying to figure out how to sync my Uno Drum to my TD-3, any suggestions friend?

Yes Opz it's the master sending a midi clock to the TD3 (slave). You have to set the TD3 to USB MIDI (press FUNCTION or BAR + "write next" and BACK toghether, then click number 3 for USB MIDI) or MIDI if you want to connect to your UNO DRUM via MIDI DIN cable, you can set the MIDI setting also from the synthtool app from behringer. From UNO DRUM you have to set midi clock out (remember to set a different midi channel from UNO Drum and the TD3 if you don't want send midi notes).

@@KUSHGRAM I can't get this to work ... I set OP-Z to midi out and clock out, set TD-3 to USB and 48PPQ but can't send a sequence (or even a tempo) from the OP-Z
